Came back for another visit, this time with a group of 21. Have to say they did not disappoint! With such a large group we basically tried most menu items. Stand out items were the Jerk Chicken, Lamb Shank and Pork Loin. Several had pickerel and the perch and all enjoyed their choice. Staff were great, we probably did overwhelm them at times since was Friday and lots of regulars around. Bottom line though, excellent tasty food from a talented kitchen. It was a great evening; we decided to go to Ironwood to have dinner. Cozy ambiance with live music. Nice music. We ordered fish tacos for shared; mine was steak and fries, and my bf was tenderloin pork. It seems the kitchen is a bit backed up due to lots of guests For the beverage, I ordered a vodka and 7-Eleven beer for my bf. The tacos arrived for us. The tacos needed hints of S&P. Ops; I forgot to mention that the host putting us the place that bit the back kind of backed the performance; it seems they forgot about us to check if we were OK with our tacos. So I waited for Passion till the waiter came by, but I had to wait for them to come by to deliver our main course, and finally, I asked S&P shacker to be on our table. My main course is coming, which is fries and steak. The fries are nice, and have a texture. I ordered blue steak, and what I received was not blue. It seems a bit rare to medium. The steak was a bit dry on the sides, so I asked for butter. Again s&p and Butter helped my main course. After we finished our meal, we waited for our waiter to bring our bill. It took him a long time to get the invoice, and he didn't get a debit machine, so we had to wait again for him to return, but he seemed to have forgotten about us. So, we decided to bring the invoice to the front to pay for our food. Please don't forget your customers if you place them on the back, as they might need something to fix their meal and bring the food as they requested. Also, get the debit machine ready while you get their bill so they don't not need to bring the bill to the front. read more

One of the best in London as of 2024. Despite the fact that its location puts it 30 minutes away from our home, we often make it a destination for special occasions because the food is consistently wonderful, it's easier to park compared to downtown favourites like David's or Hunter and Co., and the prices are reasonable. The live music and local wine selection are also a bonus. read more

This restaurant exceeded my expectations on all fronts. The reservation process was painless and efficient. The service was extraordinary. Nick was attentive, informative, flexible and patient. The Chef and team were engaged, available to discuss options and very commited to excellence. The food was Amazing. We were a party of 3 couples, including one vegan. We chose the Lamb Loin, Duck Breast, Hangar Steak, PIckerel, Oyster Mushroom (vegan), and the Pork Tenderloin Although each of us chose different items, from a poll around the table at the end of dinner, everyone was delighted with their meal. Presentation was instagram ready, All plates were ample portion size with the exception of the Pickerel which was too small left the diner a bit hungry in an hour. Friday night had live music by Simple Joy who are a duet performing classics from the 70s-90s. Great mix and sound level, with a guitar and two complimentary vocals that contributed a pleasant backdrop to the atmosphere without being intrusive. Well done team I have avoided this restaurant in the past believing it to be pretentious and over priced, but I was blown away by the experience and despite higher than mainstream costs, was exceptional value. Amazing ambiance here. We sat at the outdoor patio. Very cute place. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and attentive the entire time. I'll be thinking about their Caesar salad for a long time. It was delicious. As well as their burger. Cooked perfectly. They also have a spectacular drink menu. Went here for londonlicious and was impressed! Servers were on top of things. Place was clean and decorated beautifully. The flavours of the food was unreal. I did drop one star as I had gotten the duck and I found the fat on it was extremely chewy and inedible. The salted toffee pudding dessert was one of the best deserts I've had. Oh my goodness. This is my favourite place for outdoor patio dining. The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was so wonderful thanks to our waiter Neal. I loved that we could bring our well behaved puppies with us. It made for a very special birthday lunch ! Their Monday lunch special was so tasty that we will return often.
