Another Delicious Meal @ Ironworks Cafe in Othello, WA. !! We had a delightful lunch a couple days ago and this time, we enjoyed their breakfast! Super delicious breakfast sandwiches with great hot morning drinks! Service was wonderful and I was disheartened we couldn't leave a tip using a card, their system isn't set up for it. (We paid cash the first time) so FYI about that. Many great spots to sit inside and out. It was great to notice even more interesting antiques lining the walls in their dining area. Just looked for up breakfast places on route to our final destination and showed up that this place had breakfast sandwiches. Upon arrival. This is a little gem! The rustic and vintage interior is inviting and enjoyable. The dining rooms were empty when we arrived, but there were plenty of tables telling me this is probably a popular choice among locals. Their paninis look appetizing, but alas it was early. So we chose some bagel sandwiches. Note: they stop serving breakfast at 11am. They had a bar that offered a wine selection in the corner. We returned to this place after several weeks, as we are in the midst of a huge road-trip around the country. Of all the choices in Othello this might be the healthiest yet not the friendliest. I rather give my business to Time Out or Checo's who are friendly and customer oriented. I am a bit concern with Yelp as they took my first review with pictures down per Ironwork's request - hmm... what happened with objectivity and partiality?? I was expressing disappointment at their service practices. Now, I have been using Yelp for many years, became an Elite Yelper 4 years ago, and have written hundreds of reviews, I believe my review was a customers first hand experience - this is what Yelp said: "We typically remove reviews that don't focus on the reviewer's firsthand experiences as a customer of the business (such as secondhand experiences, observations from the perspective of a non-customer, or complaints about the business's practices or politics)." So... as a "firsthand experienced customer", who had a turkey panini and salad at this establishment I am still disappointed - they can do much better if they turn their focus to customer service. read more

Ordered two sandwiches with my mom. After waiting (in a completely empty lobby) for about 40 minutes, my mom went to go check on our order. Turns out the order ticket was "lost" yet it was still on the front counter where we ordered when my mom went to go ask. They were fairly apologetic and started up on our order immediately. Just a little frustrating when the place is completely empty and you've been waiting for nearly an hour for a couple of sandwiches. Other than that, the food and drinks were good. read more

6 of us motorcyclists rode from Tri Cities to Othello today since it was so nice out. We did lots of talking about the ironwork in the place - especially the large solid iron table we sat at. And for sure, I saw the large vise on the end of the table. A very interesting place. There was 2 young very nice girls working and they took good care of us - were extremely polite to a group of elderly bikers. And I noticed that the chairs we sat in had been assembled by hand. Very interesting and we will definately make another trip there someday. All in all a very nice trip and coffee. read more

Un believable that in the whole town there was nothing tasty until I tried Ironworks Cafe. What a great place for a delicious brunch of fresh meats, breads, and produce. 5 Stars All The Way. Visited 12/12/18 with with my buddy Andre while moving his Great Aunt from Walnut Creek to Pullman. While driving to Seattle we found this diamond in the ruff. We didn't expect to find such a pleasant, warm, and friendly cafe with great food and drinks. Erica, the woman who owns the cafe, was super friendly and accommodating the entire time. We were lucky enough to share the cafe in a weekday with just 3 other people so we received a nice amount of personal attention. The atmosphere was so great! Music, lighting, decor, food and drink variety, parking, clean restrooms - all were on point. Very easy going and productive energy. I ordered the yogurt parfait and a hot tea. Andre got the chicken soup and biscuits & gravy. All were delicious and served in a timely manner. The cafe offers a lot of social events that I love: wine & paint nights, plant sales, and others too that are seasonal. We were even offer free Fuji Apples that Erica's dad grows. Very cool! Overall, I hope I have a reason to visit Othello again because I would definitely come back. read more

This place is certainly off the beaten path. Othello needs more dining options for sure. I have hopes for this little place but I don't think it's gonna make it. You place your order at a window, self serve your own water and coffee. No waitress ever visits you except to drop off your disappointing breakfast. I will however try the wine bar;-) not a good place for the kind of food I was expecting. It's like a glorified coffee house that serves food. Well kind of.... it's a strange place in that I am not quite sure what kind of place Ironworks is trying to be. I have since been back and had a totally different experience. This is a great spot to stop for lunch in Othello. The service was very friendly and we loved our food. The pesto pasta salad was yummy. As was the BLT sandwich which came with a delicious side salad. The interior is very interesting for history enthusiasts and kids.
