The atmosphere is where the restaurant is lacking, especially in two areas: We sat in the booth underneath a high window, which had a black covering that produced a weird optical illusion from our angle. The other issue was that the bright white bulbs in the chandeliers bounced off the painted cinder-block walls in a way that could cause a migraine. The ladies who work there clearly have a lot of experience, but sometimes the interaction can feel a bit routine or lacking warmth.
