Megan and Heather are both very friendly and extremely professional. The maintenance team is always there when you need them and have great response time. Oh, and a 2-car garage! There are two styles, this a "condominium style" and the other a hotel style (one main secure entrance and all the separate apartment entrances are inside. No longer have to do yard work, snow removal, don't have to repair or replace appliances, don't have to pay for weekly pool service or an annual gym membership. Need something, just "call the team." They are polite and prompt to respond. Close to shopping, restaurants, casino and downtown area. Cable included! Electric, gas, water, sewer and garbage are an additional charge but National Grid is around $110/mo and the other utilities/garbage average less than $50 month. If I could have anything different, it would be a different style refrigerator, the upright with freezer on the top (and no ice maker) doesn't provide much freezer space. Without reservation, we recommend the Reserve at Glenville for a peaceful, beautiful lifestyle! And if you decide to live here tell the Rose and Jon referred you (and we'll split the referral bonus)!

My neighbor upstairs (her name is Karen) told me she listens to me and my girlfriend. That's not weird or anything..... The property management kay lynch is so old and doesn't care anymore about life she just sounds like an automated voice mail. Lastly the guy Tim who goes above Lynch's head for tri-city rentals. That guy is a real pos and work. They both didn't give a shit about there people that live there as long as they are paying rent every month. All I asked from them was to do there job and instead of doing there job they told me I could end my lease early cuz I was making them do real work instead of picking up a phone. Once again look somewhere else if you can this place is dogshit (no offense to dogshit)

I've never had to have any major repairs, but the maintenance staff has always been quick with any small repairs that needed to be done, and they do a great job keeping the grounds looking great year round, including plowing and snow removal during the winter. The office staff is great and have always been friendly and helpful. I can't recommend Sheridan enough if you're looking to live in the Schenectady area.

Im going to keep this as as concise as I can because there is so much to be said and I truly want…read moreanyone considering moving here to know that the price you will pay for the issues you WILL deal with are simply not worth it. Life is hard, especially these days, everything is more expensive and if you pay luxury apartment prices you should not have to be stressed out to deal with your landlord constantly because they refuse to hold up their end of the same contract that you would be penalized through. I had no intention of staying here this long, it was supposed to be a year but life happens. Fortunately life happened some more and I'll be gone at the end of this current lease. Not a glutton for punishment, I just didn't have the option to go sooner. Moved in October of 2019. Although I'm on my third apartment here, yeah, lucky number 3, I cant remember the apartment number of this one but its not hard to figure out. My bedroom wall was right up against the office. If you're standing in front of the office at the 1187 address building, my bedroom window was to the right. I tripped the breaker vacuuming and upon trying to find out where my circuit box was from the very nice woman who worked in the office at the time (Danielle I believe), I learned the office was tapped into my electric. Danielle laughed and commented on no wonder why she had no power and couldn't turn her computer on. So thats kind of illegal to make your tenants pay expenses for your operations. Two weeks after moving in, the smell of urine began to emanate from the "new" carpet. This is the smallest floor plan Niskayuna Gardens has to offer mind you, and I dont know that this is illegal, but I found out from maintenance staff that there were no pets here before me. Just a husband, his wife, newborn baby and two small children in what I think is an 800 something sq ft 1bdr? I'm all for helping a family in need that needs a roof over their head, not in a way that a business is treating them like animals though living in those conditions and making them pay for their electricity. I dont see how that helps a small struggling family in need, maybe i just dont see things correctly. Sylvia tries to inform me her staff will be moving my belongings out of my apartment while im at work the following week to move forward with the construction that would be going on in my apartment. My stuff would be moved into the hallway and left there while a crew comes in and does the work they should have done to rip out the sub floor at this point and all of my possessions would just be up for grabs? I then informed Sylvia there were certain objects in my possession that I legally could not allow her to do that with, not that she was ever having my things moved anyways, and that if any of these things went missing she would be in a mess of trouble with local law enforcement for going against my word and knowingly breaking the law. I have an obligation to see to it that certain belongings are secured correctly and you would think you wouldn't even need to explain that or even be in this situation but here, anything goes. The reason I did decide to stay as because when it was all said and done, they offered me a bigger apartment for the same price and paid for the move across the parking lot to 1197 Hillside avenue Apt 25A. I'm going to use bullet points now because there's just too much and I don't want to lose your attention. - every winter since 2019 I have had to miss work. I drive a full sized, 4wd pickup and I watch sedans drive down the street while I get stuck in the lot because this place doesn't send their old rickety plow truck until 17 inches of snow have already fallen and nothing can be done for hours - Ants. That side of the building sits on top of a massive ant colony that is probably older than I am. I should have saved the receipts from the amount of terra bait stations I've purchased throughout living their and tried to get a refund. Twice a year if you live in that apartment I do not care what you do. You will have flying ants looking to reproduce ALL over EVERYTHING. - Time passes and this turns more into student housing. I don't know what the college couple that lived upstairs from me was doing but it was obviously more than peeing all over the carpets because they actually gutted that place the day after they moved out in the middle of the night it seems. - Harborage, when you gut a disgusting, bug filled apartment you shouldn't ever throw appliances out of the window, because you can hurt people. If you do, you should make sure its not lined up against the building. It was extremely hot out and when I came home from work to see all of this mess outside of my place I also found dead roaches inside my front door. I think its safe to say they came from the luxury unit above mine. - The maintenance staff is awesome anytime you need anything fixed and I will always give credit where its due. They know who they work for and none of

    1. SECOND HAND SMOKING : Non-Smokers!! Our Bedroom bathroom and our kitchen and living room…read moreconstantly smells like cigarette smoke. I have complained several times to management but they have not done anything over 1 year. Second hand smoking kills. It is obvious that this is not a major concern to the management. The walls are thin, there is leakage of breathing air from room to room. Cigarette smoke. 2. NO PRIVACY : The maintenance workers hover all around/over your apartment and smoke in a group session. again, adding to second hand smoking and invasion of privacy to the residents. The management office is too loud, slams the door all the time and socializes right in front of your room, waking you up every morning. Very annoying and inconsiderate staff. 3. NOISE : Very loud neighbors.. heavy metal music playing at 1 am. You can hear conversations all the time. I had to call the cops several times in my stay here. 4. SMELL : I really do not appreciate the fact that I cannot open my window without enduring the smell of Indian food from below, around. I don't appreciate my room, living room, closet and clothes, and also the Hallway smelling like Indian food and cigarette smoke. In conclusion, If you are a non-smoker and you want quiet nights and weekends and clean smelling hallway? I am afraid that Niskayuna Garden is not your type of apartment. I cannot wait to move out.

(I don't work for RH, they contract to the company I work for). I feel the price is a GREAT value when comparing to other local apartments. The amenities are definitely part of the value. Underground heated parking garage for one vehicle, the heated pool (although a bit small) trash removal, cable tv and internet, gym, fire pit with two commercial grade grills and community room are all part of the rent. Most places charge extra. The staff are genuinely interested in you enjoying your apartment. It is very much a community. It consists of all age ranges and we all interact well. The only real negative I can say is that now there is a lot of construction going on. The only real issue we have had to speak of is a tenant that felt our dog was aggressive and threatening and rather than speak to us directly about it chose to go to management. It is a VERY dog friendly community. If you're not a dog friendly person then it's not the place for you. Yes there are varying sizes of dogs but I contribute that to "it's a service dog" excuse. None the less it's so dog friendly that we had a text chain for dog owners that would get together and let the dogs play together out on the large grass areas. In summary, it's an active community in the sense that there are three restaurants in the building and that the community really watches out and helps each other. The quality of the construction of the building is second to none. All concrete and still definitely well insulated from neighbor noise. I highly recommend River House. From the ladies in the office to the the maintenance staff they are top notch.

The property managers are incredibly rude and insist on communicating only via text. The underground parking garage is constantly wet, with groundwater seeping in and the roof leaking. They spend more money on decorations and a fancy garage floor by the elevator than maintenance; the 5th floor hallway is a mess. For your reading pleasure I've attached some of their incoherent, unprofessional texts. FULL DISCLOSURE: I was threatened with eviction after living there for more than a year because the property manager decided my 23pound dog was vicious and a danger to everyone living at Riverhouse because she barked at men.
