He raised his voice, threw temper tantrums, told my daughter that he didn't have time to deal with me, he lied at least twice and many other unprofessional actions and behaviors. The nurse was very rude and unprofessional as well. Something I discovered later on, Dr Hays spent 51 months in federal prison for pleading guilty to 2 counts stemming from his oxycontin addiction. The sentencing was 48 and 51 months served concurrently. I guess it's pretty common that thieving/drug addicted physicians are allowed to continue practicing. Unless you are completely alert with a medical handbook at your side, don't go there. If I could give a lower rating I would have done so

Unfortunately, this has turned out to be a disaster to my health and my continued care. When I first went to him - he asked me why I was there. I found that very rude and lacking any bedside manner. Obviously, I am new to the area and needed to find a new PCP. When I told him about my issues with severe spine pain it has turned out to be a battle with him each time, I needed a medication refill.
