The staff is incredibly rude! This place is a hospital without any hospitality! My old lady needed…read morea cup of water and they denied her a cup of water. Couldnt ask the nurses a question without getting an attitude. My nerves were acting up because I was worried about my old lady. And they told me that I had to leave because I was getting "too hysterical". Must I say more. Avoid this hellhole at all costs!

I went in with severe head pain on one side only, pain in my neck, shoulder, and arm. Weakness on one side and numbness in left hand. Nurse started an iv, took blood, and I went for a CT. The tech there was very nice. Doctor came in, asked a few questions, left. Nurse came in, hooked up IV antibiotics (did not know, although I told him and the dr, that I had an allergy to certain antibiotics ) and gave me iv pain med and iv steroids. Pain med did nothing, I'm diabetic, steroids VERY bad for blood sugar. Dr said I had a sinus infection, even though I had not one symptom. He said weakness and such probably caused by a migraine. I've had migraines in the past and this was not that. He wrote me 2 scripts; one for steroids, one for antibiotics. I asked for a script for med to prevent yeast infections. I get one every time I take antibiotics. He refused. My blood pressure was elevated while in the ambulance. I was not on a monitor while in the ER. I did not have a call light. No one checked on me while the mess were infusing, in case I had a bad reaction. To call this hell hole a hospital is a joke. You'd be better off going to the local shaman or witch doctor!

Care was adequate but the communication was absolutely awful…read more I have two major issues. 1) Appointments and availability. I live 2 hours from the facility and had to have major surgery. They rescheduled my appointments twice. Both times I had to change my work schedule to accommodate them. Then when I had to change an appointment I was sent a letter in the mail chastising me and warning me against changing appointments. (We might have to refuse you service if this continues.) It took 6 months to get in and get the surgery done. 2) Billing. Before my surgery I was called by the billing department and asked if I was going to pay before the surgery or after. Since I wasn't sure how much insurance was going to pay I asked if I could set up a monthly payment plan. I was told that wouldn't be a problem. After making payments for 5 months I was put on collections. I was stunned. I called and asked what was going on. "We have no record of a call to you, we don't set-up payment plans before service." They had no record of any calls about a payment plan and had no idea what I was talking about. And since I'm already on collections I would need to make a large payment to be allowed to get a payment plan. Also, the payment plan would be auto deduct out of my bank account. (only option). I am not giving them permission to pull from my account after seeing how they communicate within their organization.

ANDREW GARNER, NP and Dr Cody Kern. I had disease level liver enzymes. So I was sent for a…read moresonogram. Then an MRI. Then to St Louis for an Endoscopy. I had to call THEM to find that they knew nothing at all, except they wanted another MRI in six months. So maybe I would ask to consult with a Dr. I was unfortunate enough to see Dr Kern with a request to review my bloodwork and testing and give me his opinion. He didn't even bother to review my records, tests or bloodwork AND decided I needed a diagnostic colonoscopy and another endoscopy. He led me to believe he was rechecking my liver. Both tests were completely unnecessary and produced nothing, again. No phone call. Nothing. And who did the unnecessary tests that cost $13,000? Dr Kern did. No review of anything. Just a three minute recap when I was coming out of anesthesia. He ruled out Celiac. For $13,000!!! I told them my BP was erratic and that my heart was also racing. I had to seek help at St Francis Neurology to help me find that I had been suffering for a year under their "care" when a review of my chart would have led them to a real diagnosis, and relief from a neurological disorder - POTS. These people are not doctors or health care professionals, but criminals.
