Isabelle's Studio is located in a beautiful building that houses many other studios. The building is very clean and inviting, including a coffee/snack bar. There is even a shop near the front. More importantly, let's talk hair! Isabelle is great. She is quick and listens to what you want. She did a great job on my hair. I had a partial highlight, lowlights, and cut and was out in under two hours! Isabelle has my strongest recommendation.

It was the best experience I've had with a hairdresser, she was AMAZING and I would definitely recommend going to her.

I was new to the city and had chosen The Woodlands as home base, so I hopped on Yelp and started hunting.

If you need style to stay one more day, just tell her and she can do it! I'm sure everyone here is amazing too! I just get stuck with her ;) It's easy to book online appts and get confirmation right away! I think you need to keep a card on file for cancellation policies. Just found out prices are different when you book in advance and day of service. Highly recommend for any day! Bring your little for a BLO! Excellent customer service. The hair brand products is Unite. They smell delicious and have a good hold! I'm not really a fan of the dry shampoo. There's no hair volume and my hair is thick.

My appointment was pushed back to 11:30 due to delays with another client. I was a bit skeptical due to the poor reviews in Yelp, but I'm glad I went with it! I have long frizzy hair so I opted for the extended blow out and anti frizz application. There was a look book that I got to select from and I chose the beach wave with additional volume near the crown of my head. I was happy with the results and I got compliments at the wedding! So happy I added the anti frizz applied action bc my hair really looked fabulous even in this humid weather! I'll definitely opt for a blow out next time I attend a wedding as it saved me so much time. One less thing to worry about!

Finding the location I almost missed it than goodness there was a place to turn around to go back. Be prepared to park tight because the parking is very close quarters if you drive a vehicle like mine (big). I had made an appointment over the phone which is encouraged. So checking in made it easy and the young lady was very polite. It didn't take long to get started my stylist knew I was there first for a consultation and if I liked what we talked about we would proceed or I would make an appointment for a later time. As you can see I didn't waste anytime after we chatted about what I wanted and what she could do, Gracie made my hair look amazing. I am really happy. This little place offers some perks I wish I had taken a photo of that for y'all but I forgot. If you're looking for cute earrings or a cute outfit this place has some items you can choose from. Right now they have items for Saint Patrick's Day who doesn't need shamrock earrings I made a follow up appointment before I go on my next vacation to make sure my sparkles are hidden.

I saw Ms. Marchel for a wash, dry, and silk press. My hair…read moreis NOT easy to deal with (highly-dense, 3c/4a/4b coily mix, down-to-my-butt length, tangles right after you remove the brush, etc.). I am depressed and physically disabled (and was recovering from a major surgery at the time), so I had been unable to do the usual upkeep necessary for my hair with any kind of regularity. Honestly, it was a dirty, fairly matted (to the point of looking like I had a few poorly-done locs) HOT MESS. Just THINKING about doing my own hair, and how bad it had got, had me in tears for two months. I thought she'd have to cut a lot of it off tbh. She didn't turn me away, like I half-expected. It was well-within her right to see the rat's nest on my head and just refuse service or rebook me, but she didn't. That grace is something I still appreciate to this day (I saw her pre-pandemic, so this was some time ago). Doing what she did for me was beyond the job I paid her for; I am so grateful she helped me! ** a friendly reminder to be sure to tip your stylists/hairdressers!! ** For reference: It took 3 or 4 people simultaneously flat-ironing my hair at another salon (the "Texas Hair Team" over by Spring HS) to get it done in over 4 hours. THEY also told me that I "needed to get [my] hair relaxed or don't come back." That time I had gone in for ONLY styling with CLEAN, DETANGLED hair in a few large twists. Girl, bye. Ms. Marchel did it BY HERSELF, MUCH FASTER (an hour and a half MAX for detangling, shampooing, conditioning, detangling again, drying, another quick detangle, and the silk press itself), didn't charge me extra for the texture of the hair that naturally grows out of my scalp (as so many salons around here do... iykyk ), didn't complain at all or guilt me, was professional, and did a damn good job! I was ASTONISHED by her speediness, how thorough she was, and the result!! My curls also bounced right back after wash-day! No heat damage! It's been awhile since I've seen her, but I still HIGHLY recommend her for a BEAUTIFUL silk press on natural coily hair!

First, let me start by saying I think this stylist does a decent job with basic and natural styles…read more My review is on a sew-in experience I had at this salon. My sew-in experience was tragic to put it lightly. The appointment started off well. I brought in 2 bundles of hair. The stylist said she would color it to match my hair color. She colored 1 bundle of the hair. During my appointment, one of her friends/clients came in to discuss a style she was planning to get the following week. Although this salon is marketed as a private setting, this client/friend was allowed to sit and talk during the duration of my appointment. As she was sewing the tracks, she would continue to look at her phone. I'm not sure if she was looking at directions on how to do a sew in or what. When my hair was done, I informed her that I'd like it cut to resemble my natural hair length. Once I left the salon, I saw where tracks were visible at the top (she had to see this before I left), so I went back and she attempted to fix it. Once I got home, not only could I still see tracks at the top, but thread was popping out in the back and a track that was not sewn down was also sticking out. I sent her a picture and she told me to either cut it or Bobby pin it until the next time I return to the salon. The next day (Sunday), I had to get the sew in taken out by someone else because it was falling apart. It was the worst $200 job ever. She did not even cut the tracks to fit naturally. She simply rolled them on top of each other, which made it extremely bulky and impossible to lay flat. I sent her a text that Monday informing her that I had to get the sew-in removed. She never replied. A simple acknowledgement or sorry would have sufficed. For that reason, I realized this is not the stylist for me. Although I wasted a lot of money, I simply see it as a donation to someone who needs it more that I do!
