Honestly, this is the worst haircut of my life. I don't know who to blame because she never told me her name. I showed her a picture of what I wanted...a feminine pixie. I had more than enough hair and the right texture for this cut. What I walked out with can only be described as a girl's gym teacher mixed with Rick Vaughn from Major League. She cut the back of my hair into a V without ever asking how I wanted the back. If she'd asked, she'd have found out that I'd never have wanted a 1988 flock of seagulls V shaved into the back of my head. Did I mention that she never spoke? I was afraid to conversate because she was so focused but she did have to get help to come cut my hair. It's not like I could have just gotten up out of the chair. I had no choice but to accept this monstrosity on my head. I guess the only upside is Amazon Prime. I now have a wig being delivered tomorrow. UPDATE: I just spoke with the owner. Nicest guy ever. DO NOT COME TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT. The service and this haircut from Crystal completely messed up my hair. My hair was completely botched that when getting it fixed the best I could, I had to go and get more length cut off to match the shorter side because both sides were uneven. Not only was it uneven it was just all over the place, like what is this?! She barely washed my hair as well. My hair is still not fully fixed and it won't be for a very long time. When going back and explaining my issue they tried to not give me a refund. When you mess up someone's hair, appearance, life style you owe them the decency of a refund for that overly expensive botched haircut. The service with all of this was horrible. One lady said I was throwing a tantrum and if I was then so be it but I was not. I was just standing my ground and letting you be aware of what needs to happen and how bad this was and is. I'm a grown woman not a child, do not try to intimidate me saying I am throwing a tantrum. I should've made more of a scene for the big mess up your employee did. Janessa (so sorry if I got her name wrong!) cut my hair yesterday (Sunday) and did the most amazing job! My hair was very long, all one length to about my hip. She did not make me feel guilty for needing two washes because of product buildup, and was very attentive to me when discussing my cut. She wanted to make sure I was OK with the amount of length off she would be taking in order to make, the hairstyle I wanted possible. My hair looks unfused. Amazing. I am moving so unfortunately will not be able to revisit again, but if I do come back, I will only see her from now on. read more

I called before I went in and asked if someone there knew how to cut really short hair. My normal lady retired. CC said she was really good at it. So I booked an appt. I explained that a GOOD haircut looks great as it grows out. I wash and towel dry my hair.. I use no products as I do t was all those chemicals on my scalp. My haircut was terrible when I walked out and 30 days later it looks even worse! It's just hair so it will grow out and I'll try a different hair cutter. But if want a good short haircut this this NOT the place to get one. This was the most uneven hair cut and my son laughed and said she gave me a mullet... so had him cut off the back. Why didnt I stay let her fix it???? because I didn't have that much hair left for her to screw up. Avoid this place at all costs. I showed up to my appointment after double checking and clarifying the services I requested, and they told me they messed up their scheduling and didn't have time. This place is awesome! I just moved to the area and was looking for a place to continuously visit as opposed to visiting multiple cheap places like Super Cuts. Lynn was super nice, friendly and told me exactly what she believed I needed. I'm not a big risk taker when it comes to my hair and I'm so glad Lynn helped me take that chance. Cutting off 4 inches of hair in a style no other place told me about ("undercutting") left me with much healthier looking hair. Lynn also treated my brassy blonde hair and recommended the different shampoo and conditioners they had. I could tell she knew her stuff and actually cared what went into my hair without being pushy. I've been getting my hair cut here for years, so when I needed a last minute formal updo styling for prom, I knew where to go. They are always extremely clean & super nice, one woman has remembered my family for years & asks us how we are every time. The updo I got was wonderful, and the stylist doing my hair loaded me up with hairspray & bobby pins & even made me shake my head a few times to make sure my style could withstand the usual prom antics. The style stayed & did not move until my boyfriend removed all of the rubber bands & pins (I have very thick hair) keeping my hair up. The entire updo itself was $65.00, which is steep compared to other salons, but it was a good job nonetheless. I probably won't come back to get an updo just because it's way too expensive for my liking, but it's wonderful for cuts & coloring. read more

I love my stylist . She is always prompt and I have never had to wait. I am sitting here this morning and have witnessed the most horrible customer service. First off My stylist was on time and started on me as soon as she could. There were other customers here that had 10 am appointments as well. The other two stylist came in together around 10;20. I witnessed them sitting in the back room drinking their coffee and visiting with each other. I was under the dryer and at 11:05 they decided to come out of the back room and start working on their customers. I will be filing a complaint with the manager and the corporate office. This is the worst customer service I have ever witnessed. You can tell the two stylists are besties and didn't care about their customers. read more

I would give 0 stars if Yelp would let me! I decided to cut my long hair to donate it. I was nervous because I had been growing my hair out for almost seven years or so minus my routine trims. The place is tacky and very unclean. I was not given a cover up poncho to keep hair from getting on my clothes. Its a place where Tabatha's Salon Takeover could happen any second. Today was the first time in years that I have gotten my hair cut and the first time EVER that I've died it. I couldn't be more pleased with my experience! My hair stylist was Maureen Trivino, and she is absolutely awesome :) I was so nervous that I was going to get my hair cut and it wasn't going to be what I wanted and I would regret it. Horrible experience and the manager doesn't seem to care! My wife went in to get a simple cut to clean up her split ends, and all seemed to go well. Except when she got home she noticed that her hair was cut uneven. She attempted to call and ask if she could come back in and just have the ends evened up, but was rudely told that the hairdresser who did it was the best they had, and if she was unhappy, then nobody could fix it and they would just have to refund her money. She wasn't wanting a refund, wasn't rude, and didn't think it would be difficult to fix, but apparently it was. She went and got her money back, then went to another salon to get it fixed, and it took almost an hour and a half for the stylist to fix it. read more

It's been over a week since I had my hair cut and the more I try to style it the more pissed I get. It is one big MESS! The young girl that cut my hair needs to find another profession because it doesn't look like this is her calling. I feel like this location has gone down hill over the last few years. I used to always get my hair done here, but I rarely saw the same stylist more than once. They seem to have very high turnover. The last time I was in I felt like the stylist didn't listen to me at all when I was explaining what I wanted. I was very nervous about getting a hair cut because the last one I'd gotten ended up being about 3 inches shorter than I asked for. I had spent a year growing out my hair and was ready to add some shape to it, but VERY nervous. The stylist didn't even look at me while I was talking and showing her where I wanted my length. I must have been crazy to stay in her chair, but I did and the cut was good, but I felt like I wasn't important. She didn't even tell me or name or try to have a conversations with me... like at all. I only know her name because it was all over her station and I made a mental note to not use her again. I was just another thing on her to do list. That's not a good feeling when you're trusting your hair to someone else. I called today to ask about same day availability and the girl that answered the phone sounded disinterested and annoyed. When she picked up the phone after a hold to tell me that they were booked today (which is fine... it's good for businesses to be booked and that's not why I was upset) she didn't say something like "I'm sorry we're full today, but tomorrow... blah blah blah" it was literally "no ma'am we don't" and silence. Her attitude was totally off putting and made me not want to ask about scheduling for another day. Instead, I booked an appointment for later this week with another salon. I had been going to this salon for 4 years and because of the girl on the phone I am going somewhere else. She wasn't blatantly rude, but after feeling unimportant and disregarded at my last appointment I was going to give Texas Hair Team another chance to change my mind and keep my business. I don't know if the employees there are bored or underpaid or just miserable, but it's evident that the last few that I've encountered don't like their jobs and they let the clients see it.
