It was an early afternoon time around 1:30pm. Before I was going to my job assignment, I needed a quick coffee break. As I was coming out of the business right across from the street, this coffee shop didn't escape my notice. I wasted no time to rush to it to check it out. This shop is conjoined with a little country shop. Once you are inside the building, the coffee shop is to the right. A young lady welcomed me with a smile. I was the only person at the time of the visit so I was immediately helped. The drink menu is a good size. They also have a decent selection for breakfast and lunch items. My iced latte (16oz) was not even $5 after tax. I truly appreciate the small town prices. This place does look like something the town of Elizabeth had long been waiting for: another boost to make this quiet and quaint town could utilize to bring some curious visitors to come check out and see how cute Elizabeth is. When I pick up another shift in this part of town, now I know where to go to get a refreshing iced latte (by the way, my latte tasted really good!)

Dazbog and Dis Burritos are both Colorado local companies. Cowgirlz Coffee has lots of options on their menu. So even if you are not a coffee drinker, they've got teas, smoothies, and plenty of food options. The lady who made my coffee was pretty quick! Drive thru only, so be prepared for grab and go. They also have a loyalty punch card that after filled out earns you a free coffee!

Yesterday I went by and the line was long with just one young woman both taking orders and making the drinks. It seemed like everyone was patient and understanding. It did take longer than usual, but this would be the case anywhere that's short staffed. I went in today, and the young woman, Lexie, was extremely patient and kind, and made a delicious specialty drink very quickly. I'm grateful that she's taken on this challenging role and look forward to seeing her smiling face most days!

I was having a very busy day running errands and decided to stop in before the last store I had to get to closed. I placed my order, paid, and went to the pickup counter. Two other people placed orders and got their orders made and served before mine. I asked the girls working behind the counter why other people were getting served ahead of me. Neither had a logical explanation. They said they were splitting up the type of drinks they made. The girl named Cadence was very rude. She was huffy, short, and gave a lot of attitude. I questioned the drink that she made for me. She said, "It's right. It's whatever's on the cup. Do you want something else?" she said with her hand on her hip as though I were bothering her. I asked to see the manager. She snapped at me and said, "Which manager. I have several managers. What do you want?" The other girl said none of them were there and to come back another time. I had to get going. I only had 1/2 hour to get to my next stop and take care of business before they closed. You know, everything is getting very expensive. I treat myself to a coffee sometimes to make the work day go a little better. If I'm going to spend $7 on a coffee, I really don't need a side order of grief to go with it. It seems the kids in Elizabeth CO could use an attitude adjustment. Where's the supervision? I never get this grief at Cowgirlz Coffee, but they're not open late in the afternoon.
