By New Year's Eve I was fabulous with the volume and past shoulder length extensions! My god I am so happy with it... then in March we went long... the extensions are of the highest quality and set beautifully. I come in to get them retaped and my color touched up. And it's like coming to family. I've brought my pups here, my friends here and when you leave you feel beautiful and confident. The people are so nice and truly I've made lifetime friends here. I had a terrible experience at I salon. I had a full head of extensions put in my hair. They were the wrong color, they fell out after a week and my haircut was cut 2 inches uneven. The owner of the salon will not refund Any of my 550$ - I would never recommend this salon. It's absolutely horrendous the way I've been treated. read more

I would follow her to the moon if I had too..lol She gave me an Ultimate Treatment which btw is complimentary and her usual on point blow dry.. once a month on Thurdays Ultimate treatments are complimentary by a Lanza representative or the stylist maybe able to hook you up if you mention this review or that you heard from someone. Michael Shaul is an incredible stylist and truly knows how to work with curly hair and is an expert in the Ouidad method. My hair is curly but very fine, and I have had horrible luck finding a stylist in South Florida who knows how to properly cut it with the Ouidad technique. Michael knew exactly how to cut and style it, and has experience with a wide variety of curly textures. Since my last post, Jan joined the nail tech team. I've been following Jan around from one salon to another from her old home at the now closed Salon Sepia to her long term home here at iSalon. She's been doing my nails for close to 20 years now. You could say that I'm happy with her work to stick with her like that. (Understatement). I'm not the only one. She has so many long term customers. For me, she's does pink and white acrylic nails. I'm rough on my hands, use them as tools, scuba dive, and I have a demanding job and very little free time. I need no fuss long lasting nails that give me a professional business image. She also does the best pedicure around. I've had a few other people do my feet periodically, and they never exfoliate as well as Jan. I want sandal ready feet that look delicate and polished. My pedicures last longer than my manicures and they look great too. My needs are straightforward, but I've seen her do nail art, gel nails, and more. She also recently had training in one of the new trends, nail dipping. She is careful with elderly patrons, and patient with the youngest ones. I could not give higher praise than what I'd give to her. You won't be disappointed. read more

I absolutely love coming here. After I tried so many salons in Miami, I get perfect blonde hair color with no words from their stylist. I didn't even have to explain to her she just did it perfectly and since then I have been coming . I also get my hair blowout. They do a great job,and use great product like oribe. Ok, I know most people are looking on Yelp for a good salon and finding lot of bad reviews/ bad experiences- why is a consistently good salon such a hard thing to find in Miami? Anyway, I was lucky enough to find iSalon when it first opened up- and I have been coming here ever since. Mary is the co-owner- she is absolutely fantastic! She greets you by name, makes sure she gets you coffee and offers you bagels while you wait. She is truly hands on with her entire staff and she really goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and to make sure you have the best salon experience. I have to admit that I have been to a few of the stylist at this salon, mainly because my schedule is very unpredictable, that said, I want to whole heartily endorse Toni as my favorite colorists/ stylist that I have had at ANY salon. And now, despite my schedule, I always work with her. When you first meet her you will notice she is very young and her hair always looks great (you wouldn't go to a dentist with messed up grill, right?) She is also extremely friendly and professional and she really takes pride in her work. Her highlights are flawless and she is meticulous with her cuts. I have lived out of Miami for 12 years and always make Ada my first stop. Her cuts are amazing and always grow out beautifully. She is worth every penny. WORST HAIRCUT OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!! SEE ATTACHED PICTURE!!!!!!!! Stay away from Richard if you care about your hair!!! I went in for a trim and I told him that I wanted to keep my hair thick on the bottom and long. He suggests long layers since my hair WAS long. After talking me into it, he started cutting. Once he was done, he blew my hair out and rounded the ends so much that it didn't seem bad at all. I could feel how thin the bottoms felt, but the way he blew it out gave the illusion of looking good. So a few days later I went to do my own hair and what a NIGHTMARE!!!!!!!!! None of the ends connected and it looks like the back of my hair was put in a hair grinder. SEE PICTURE!!!!!!! He ended up cutting two inches and then yesterday I had to get another haircut to have it fixed and the guy had to cut an additional 3 inches!!!!! What started as a tiny trim, now ended up 5 inches shorter!!! I'm devastated and sent Richard a message requesting a refund to which is said ABSOLUTELY NOT. Stay away from Richard!!!!!!!!!!!! Let me also add an update (today's date 10/26/16). I called and asked to speak to the owner three times explaining how badly my hair was cut between the time I noticed how badly my hair was cut and the date noted above. and each time Adriana promised I would get a call back and I have yet to receive it. read more

Just had my first and last waxing done at iSalon. The cheap quality f the wax not only removed the eyebrow, lip & bikini area but also the skin with it. When I showed the owner of the salon the missing skin on my face, he absolutely couldn't care less. My total for my root touch up, low dry & waxing was $300.00. I guess skin removal was extra. It looked great when I left the salon but noticed that there's a pinkish hue to the bottom half of my hair that looks kind of ombré. I assume its the result of residual dye from when I dyed my hair last year, and didn't realize the sediments were still I my hair. It doesn't look bad just kind of a little "sass". I was eager to go blonde but happy that it looks nice regardless. Staff was absolutely great and my stylist did a trim on the house to help accentuate the highlights. read more

I've lived in four states in the last 25 years and believe me, consider yourself lucky if you have her locally. Had an amazing first time experience here. Without having an appointment (was a walk in) I was able to be taken right away by a fabulous hair stylist, Sidelle. I went in with plain, hanging hair extensions, no style or shape and blah mousey hair color and walked out with a beautiful cut and color. I was so happy! It was like a complete makeover. Sidelle worked very carefully and with much enthusiam, to create a completely new look for me. I couldnt believe my eyes when she was done. It was a success.....especially so because I came in by luck/chance. Sidelle isnt just a hair sylist.....shes an artist. Unlike many hairdressers Ive seen (from "fancy-shmancy" to no frills), she really cares. She wants to help you achieve the best look.....from your facial features and shape to skin complexion, and age. From the moment I sat in her chair I felt I was in good hands. How many hairdressers can you trust to surrender full control of your hair, not feeling nervous or unsure? Sidelle even went online and googled the hairstyle I was going for. We looked at pictures so that we would both be on the "same page". She analyzed my features and gave me a beautiful new look. Now, you can really see my green eyes and high cheekbones, whereas before, you only saw HAIR, bags under my eyes , and long,wide face...... THANK YOU ISALON for having availability/flexibility, professionalism, and reasonable prices. THANK YOU for having Sidelle do my hair. I went to see John Michael for a blow dry and he charged me $65, about $25 more than I usually pay. But that was not the problem. My elderly mother had an appointment after me. I was horrified by the way she was treated. First he told her to "hurry up" and check in because he wanted to leave for the day. When she said her hair had just been washed, he gestured for her to go get her hair washed again and said "just go!" as though he was speaking to a dog. I have never seen such ill treatment at a salon in my life. The receptionist was apologetic but it was too little too late. My mother and I promptly left and will never return. Disgraceful. read more
