The owner was sitting in the front on his phone the whole time while the person doing my nails hurt me several times grinding my skin during my mani. She just didn't seem to know what she was doing. Polishing my toes bfr putting on my flip flops, trying to polish my finger nails before filing them down, saying she didn't realize I wanted them filed, etc. Basic stuff that was just missed. read more

Very upset by the gel polish service I received today. Not only is it messy its all over my skin and burned when the gel polish was drying on my skin. The pedi tech was amazing but the lady they handed me off to was just terrible. The place can be a little cleaner and the vibe is drab till the other ladies get there and set the mood. Really good nail salon. My usual nail salon was closed so I ended up here (based on good reviews and price). Regular mani/pedi (basic) combo was only $32 compared to other places of $40 and even $70. They have lots of options for pedicure services, price ranges from $22 to $99. I chose the basic spa because it stated it includes light massage, however it didn't. Kevin was doing my pedicure (he was really good) and he skipped the "massage" part completely even though Basic Pedicure should include "light massage". There was no scrub, no massage, only cooling gel applied for a minute or less. This was the first place I noticed that basic pedi is so "basic". My manicure was done by Kelly and she was good. Except the polish was sheer and the result was a bit too streaky but she did not offer to apply 3 coats (some other salons, if the nail technician sees streaky result offers to apply 3rd coat). Also, I guess not many people these days do regular polish so I noticed that most nail polishes that I liked where either empty or dried out. I chose the one that looked the newest and fullest. Kelly was offering me few other polishes but came back empty handed, saying "It was empty". Bottom line, I would come back again. I would like to try their special pedicure with the massage, mask, etc., however I would have to bring my own nail polish. read more

Michael is a true artist. I've received so many compliments since I started getting my nails done with him. I always get the powder-dip manicure with tips. They offer different packages for pedicures which start at $22. I usually have my pedicure done with either Cindy or Bella. D Diamonds has become my main nail salon since leaving Tammy's in Aventura and Paradise Nails on Hallandale Beach Blvd. The service here is outstanding, the staff is very friendly and accommodating and they're even open on Sundays. Same-day appointments with Michael are sometimes available but I recommend booking ahead of time. read more

As silly as it may be, I pride myself on having beautiful feet for a man lol and enjoy the occasional pedicure with my fiancé. Well, we were way overdue for a date, so we decided to have an entire day of fun, including getting pedicures. I looked up places near us, and decided on D Diamond Nails because they were highly rated. I really wanted to have an amazing experience, especially for my fiancé who deserved a SPA style pedicure. Unfortunately, that's not what either of us received. Obviously, I don't actually paint my toes, so for me it's all about the massage and treatments. This experience was AWFUL. The nail technician cut my toe nails crooked, made me bleed, and honestly made my toes look worse than when I came in. It was an excruciating painful experience. On top of that, I'm not sure they spoke English very well because my wife was telling them to stop because the lotion was burning her legs and they kept putting lotion on her legs. She was about ready to jump out of the chair and leave, but I insisted she finish the pedicure. I wish I hadn't convinced her because they ruined her nails making them crooked. Also, the paint came right off. Since I've been in the service industry, I simply paid for the services and tipped both the nail techs, but we will never be back. This was not an enjoyable experience, it was a torturing one! I don't recommend going here, it's not worth it. I decided to treat myself today so i went to get a manicure and pedicure appointment. I arrived to D. Diamond Nails, the place is super clean and well distributed. I didn't have to wait long to get someone to do the services. The guy was super nice and very efficient (sadly I couldn't talk to him because he did not speak English yet he was super nice and friendly). I got the gel nails and regular pedicure. He even gave a menu to choose my preferred pedicure. I chose the $25 dollar one that included a massage and scrub. I paid a total of $53 plus I left $5 dollars tip. I totally recommend this place. I've never been cut like this in my life at a nail salon. A chunk of my skin was ripped off and the cuticle clippers cut deeper into the wound. I definitely should've not paid full price for this. At the time, I didn't want to make a scene. So later that day, I called back to speak to a manager. I sent pictures to the guy whom I spoke with on the phone. I received a text back with the response along the lines of, "All she did was pick off a scab you had. She didn't cut you. And if she did, you would've had a clean cut." I then asked for the guy to call me back because I'm 100% positive I had no scab on the side of my finger. I was then called back by another employee who made matters worse. She called and informed me that she has been in the medical field for years and knows what wounds look like. That from the look of it, the gash did not look like it was from one of their tools. Being in the medical field should not even matter. I myself have been a nurse for 7 years and I ALSO know my wounds. Why is education even being brought into this? I then received the excuse that my cuticles were dry after they told me it was a scab. I know for a fact that I had no scabs on my fingers. It was obvious that she was trying to find every excuse in the book that it was not her coworker's fault. But when the blame turned on me, I found it highly upsetting. I asked the woman if she thought I was lying and she replied along the lines of, "No but I think there was misinformation you gave." In the end, they were unwilling to accept responsibility and they have proved that they have little value for customer service. read more

I used to come here every month. Today was the last time I ever step foot back in D Diamond Nails. I used to do my nails with Kevin, Bo and Tao. I was told now all of them left. Why? Not sure. I was very heartbroken. I came in regardless to take off my dip powder and just get a gel manicure. I wanted a change this time since I always get dip. So I sit down and it's a guy who has never done my nails and he looks to me that he didn't know what he was doing. Typically soaking off dip would be cotton ball and wrap up in foil for a bit. This man brought a bowl of pure acetone and I soaked in there for a bit. Here is where I started to lose my patience. After about a couple minutes he then wanted to try to shave off the dip. When this guy started I said to myself, let's see. I snapped because he was shaving my right natural pinky nail down to the point I can feel it hurt. So I said stop you are gonna ruin my nail and took the tray of cotton balls and tin next to me for him to put on. He did. So I soaked the way I was supposed to for a bit. (If I had not stopped him after my pinky he would would thinned out all my nails) I told the young girl next to me (Grace) please I don't think he knows what he's doing. She said oh no he does. No he doesn't. LISTEN TO THE CUSTOMER. So here he goes with this file shaving apparatus. Every time he would do it I would be scared. Then buffering then filing. EVERYTIME he went to my THINNED out pinky I hesitated for him to spend time on it. Furious to this point. They didn't have the gel number I wanted so I had to change. End point of all of this is I absolutely HATE the way my nails came out. I was so mad I didn't want to cause a scene because honestly it's the holidays and I don't want that attention. But you guys should of listened to me when I said I was gonna wait for someone else. My nails are atrocious for the Christmas holidays and the gel I have on. I don't even know if it's gel. I have driven by this random plaza on Hallandale Beach Boulevard 1000,000 times but never realized this nail place was here, it's in a random mini shopping plaza. From the outside it doesn't seem like much, but inside they've done a pretty nice job with it. Details like the rock wall and the chandelier really add a nice touch. Anthony was my nail tech and at first I wasn't sure how he would do because he was working very very very very slowly... But in the end it paid off because, honestly he did a phenomenal job! He worked very Meticulously, took his time, and really paid attention to detail. It also truly helps that he speaks perfect English and so do all the other people in the place. I paid an extra three dollars on my pedicure for the additional massage time and extra scrub and it was very very worth it. Don't be cheap with your three dollars.
