The gentleman I spoke with, was able to schedule me for an appointment the same week and gave me great information on how best to accomplish my goals. The estimate was also very reasonable after doing cost comparisons. Griffin, our installer was an incredible electrician. He was very knowledgeable and worked diligently and quickly to change all of our outdated outlets with ease. Here is a picture of him, adjusting our dining room light fixture to the proper height. JW Shaw electric was recommended on the Tesla website for a EV charger installation. I called one…read moremorning and JW himself came out later that afternoon to give me a quote. They were by far the least expensive of the other companies that quoted the job. JW is a great man and turns out a great electrician! It took about a week to get on the schedule because of them being swamped with work. Very professional and they did a great job. JW sent pictures of the completed work to the city inspector, which made his job a breeze. The DTE electrician was also pleasantly surprised to see that he would not have to terminate any wiring and all he had to do was plug in the meter. I can't recommend JW Shaw Electric enough. 5 stars and now I see why Tesla recommends them for charger installation.

Mark is one of the most unprofessional person I have even met in my life. He came to inspect a panel at my rental unit a few weeks back and told me I need to upgrade it immediately and I/ my tenant is in imminent danger if we don't do so. Mark asked us 2250 CAD for the work. After that he didn't return my calls, no response to my messages for 5 straight days. He later has barged into my property to work on it without my permission, I asked him to leave my property immediately, he left and threatened to send me an invoice of 200 CAD as inspection fees. I called another company and got the work done for 500, they were able to use my exesting panel all they did was clean up the wires going to it and arrange them in an orderly manner. They send pictures as proof to let me know me and my tenant were not in danger and this is only if I wish to go ahead I can do the recommended activity and I was being scammed by Mark. This person has fake reviews online by himself (Mark) promoting his company. I don't usually write reviews but I want to warm the world about this crook (Mark). Sincere request don't do business with such people, save your money and time I will be reporting this crook to Ontario board that looks into electric/electricians for giving me false information to gain my business
