I arrived early to find parking but there was a lot next door to the building with free parking for yoga students. When first entering, I was greeted with a friendly smile by Chelsea. She was quick to help me because there were so many yoga tools and I was unsure what would be needed for class. I walked into the studio room and wow! The view of the outside is gorgeous. Lillah seems to know everyone in her classes and was quick to introduce herself to me. We began yoga therapy and throughout the entire class she was offering knowledge about yoga, the body and her self experience. This was reassuring because I had only taken yoga a few times before and always left wondering if I performed the poses correctly. She readjusted me a few times and I was happy she was willing to help. Overall, it was a great experience and I can't wait to go back!

It's been fantastic and my body from my feet up is infinitely happier with me. Try it you might like it!!! (from previous 4 star review) (updated review) Ok. So I used to do body rolling classes that they offered here. But then due to what I can only assume is poor management communications they canceled that class and I found out by showing up to said canceled class and there were a bunch of kids dancing or something. So that left me with a pre-paid 10 class body rolling punch card that I can't use. The Pilates looked really neat and I had thought about trying it out. Now not so much. Building is a lot out of the way for me and I was not that impressed with the space. There is no check-in/waiting area so the next class will get there early and just stare at the current class awkwardly. Overall meh. Teachers may be great but they need to work on their communication skills.

This place is terrible. Its not the teachers that are terrible but the person who runs the place…read more Make sure if you go there, that you keep track of your class package because otherwise they are liable to turn around and take money from you. When I first bought my mat package, I was not initially informed that there was a three month expiration date, and they have a very inconvenient schedule for the classes they offer. I went away on vacation and found out I had to use all of my classes within a month. I managed to squeeze in all but two (truly a feat) and got a nasty e-mail saying, you're 3 months is up. Is this how to treat customers? I think not! I still had some reformer classes ($20 a class) left and then I called in and the attendee said you owe us money. This place is totally WHACK! I definitely advise against going to it. The teachers are fine, but the way they run it is very questionable. Stealing money from clientele is not OK!

This gym feels like a family! I always sing "rolling with my homies" to myself as I'm driving there…read more As a woman, I've always felt super safe and respected even though BJJ by its nature is all physical contact. I've been here for a year now and feel so confident and strong. Also, I love all the instructors' laid back sense of humor combined with serious instruction. Love you guys!

Take this review how you want, just know that I have no reason to lie about this place. Johnny Buck…read more(main instructor/owner the way he explained it) makes fun of the mentally ill with a lot of maliciousness. 7 months into my BJJ journey and taking my training very seriously; I saw a student go up to Johnny and say (referring to one of the mentally Ill students who would train with us) "I was worried about hurting him" in which Johnny responded with "Oh no, they're really strong, they can handle a lot, and uh don't worry if you hurt em because they're not even human so..." Racism is prevalent here, don't be fooled by their kindness at first. Johnny used to call me mutt before I confronted him on that. There's plenty of cops that go to this gym so if the "leader" is encouraging making fun of mentally ill people and racism then you have a cycle that will continue throughout the community. This "gym" pushes a 12 month commitment for new members. They speak under their breath about you here if you don't submit to their culture or their way of thinking. It's almost like a cult in a way. The main reason why I wrote this review is because I felt it was my civic duty to let anybody who's innocently trying to learn self defense to protect others, are not taken advantage of like I was. My advice to new and potential future customers is to please stay away from that place but if you do want to check it out then I suggest you listen to your gut, stay true to who you are, and if you believe in God stay close to him because this guy and his ilk aren't good people. -Message to Johnny: What you teach is a perversion of what real humans naturally feel. Real humans have empathy. You don't.

There is a station for Oly weightlifting, Cardio, even a basketball hoop out back and what appeared to be archery stuff. I got really good hands on coaching and although I train quite often was able to improve a lot on my clean technique. I travel a lot and always like to visit different local gyms and this place definitely is a part of the Asheville vibe and character and would highly recommend it.

Protein and greens obviously supports an active lifestyle, but the flavor of a good steak and steamed brussels sprouts vaults this simple meal to staggering deliciousness and optimum performance. My sister attends this box regularly, but I have next to no experience with CrossFit. After attending a couple of Saturday morning bootcamp classes at 9 am on a few different visits to Asheville, I wanted to try some mid-week classes. The coaches and students were friendly and focused. Aaron, the owner, stayed nearby to help me modify movements to my skill level. I walked away challenged and excited to return. I really appreciated that the coaches are committed to good technique and speak up to help correct incorrect movements. Although most of my fitness experience is anchored in dance training, I felt welcome at this Crossfit facility, and I wish I lived in the area so I could attend regularly.
