Bought on Groupon. They have canceled on our group at least 6 times (I've lost track). So shady! Get your money and never take you!

The place is very easy to find, in the middle of nowhere Michigan. We drove in from Kalamazoo and it was an easy drive. They advertise a discounted early jump. Sadly, didn't get that price so beware of that. We arrived early and the equipment check was quick. They had quite a bit of sitting areas for people waiting/watching but they were directly in the sun. The hanger is about the only source of shade there, which does make sense but you might want a hat if you'll be hanging out a while. On the skydiving/jumping aspect: The place had excellent new(er) parachutes to rent, awesome views of Michigan which included a lake and the speedway. They have fast planes and take you to higher elevations than a lot of other places. The operation was very smooth and efficient. They ran two planes alternating while we were there, so one plane every 10-15 minutes. They had tv's with an ETA of each load and ran pretty spot on. They had a large re-packing area. The observations I made for tandems: they seem to have a secluded classroom for the safety review/education. they had ample tandem instructors that seemed happy to be there and they must run a solo jump training program because I saw a few people getting one on one help on the ground prior to their jumps. They also had 1-4 tandems in most of the loads while we were there (Saturday) so quite a bit of jumpers. The equipment was also impeccable. They seemed to have someone educating students on packing as well so it appears they are ready to teach anyone at any level.

To make things work, a supervisor named Andy helped us reschedule quickly for the same morning. Thank you Andy! When we arrived we were really impressed. The facility is so cool and everything was clean and organized. Most of the flight suits and equipment looked new. We had our ground school training with our instructor Vinnie and he answered all of our questions. We were well prepared thanks to his knowledge and insight. Entering the "wind tunnel" was exciting and a huge thrill. It was an incredible experience. Vinnie handled everything perfectly for both an 8 year old and an old man of 58! A personal recommendation: Get the 4 flight package. I think we really got the most for our money that way. They have a lot of specials so be sure and shop for those. Could not be more pleased and already looking forward to our next "flight". Chris F.

They attach wristbands to the fliers with names and info. I booked a family package for up to 3 fliers and 10 flights. They each got to go twice but their time was extended to get the full time for the 10 flights. Husband did the fly high add-on. Super fun. Not fun - beginners have to wear the eye goggles and open helmet. The goggles cut into your face and the force of the wind makes it hard to breathe. Bright side is that since they completed the first beginner round, they can have closed helmets next time. Instructors were great! Everyone was so helpful. Nice facility, plenty of seating for groups and spectators. The girls were very excited but nervous. They had a great time and want to go again. At $360, it will be a little while before we do it again.

Highly recommended for first time jumpers! When we decided…read moreto finally check it off of our bucket list, I googled all the skydiving places in Michigan and finally selected this place due to positive reviews and it's proximity to the Detroit metro area. Of course a skydiving facility surely needs to keep a very high standard to be able to run successfully for 20+ years! So when we reached the dz and looked at the parachutes flying down from the sky, surely the first question that crept into the mind was "are we sure we wanna do this?" Thankfully, both our instructors & videographers were very experienced and knew exactly how to comfort a first timer. Jon was my wife's instructor and he mentioned that he's jumped over 7k times and there's nothing to fear at all... he assured her that the only responsibility she has is to "have fun" and the rest will be taken care by him! Her videographer Keith was a highly spirited guy as well and captured her priceless moments beautifully! The best part was him holding her hands and flying in circles during the free fall itself! My instructor Rob was terrific as well! He's very calm and confident and patiently answered all my questions from the reserved parachutes to wind conditions. And when you find your instructor to be actually yawning as the airplane climbs up, you know you're in safe hands! My videographer was Jeff and he was pretty jovial too.. he took my interview before boarding the plane... then videoed me before and during the jump... and amazingly was also waiting at the ground to capture my landing! All in all it turned out to be an unforgettable day for both of us and all credit goes to them for making us comfortable and help enjoy the rush! At the end of the day i realized that a tandem jump isn't really riskier than driving on a freeway... so if you're thinking about doing it, don't wait and go ahead right away! Tip: If you have motion sickness, take a bonine half hr before the jump and you should be fine! This is very different from riding a roller coaster (which i hate)! Lastly, This place is better than a lot of other skydiving facilities for two reasons... i. they provide you personal videographers instead of recording through instructor's wrist camera. ii. You reserve your spot by paying 100$ online and pay the rest after reaching, unlike some places who charge the entire amount while booking. iii. They sell some memorabilia at the office and we bought 2 cool shirts for ourselves! A little suggestion for improvement: i. It would be cool to get a fun certificate saying that we sky dove, like some other places provide. ii. We would love to buy a fridge magnet but didn't find it in the souvenir store.
