Best beer on the island. So nice to get a great beer while in Mexico. We are snobby CA craft beer drinkers and I actually pack craft beer when I travel to Mexico. So great to get a really delicious IPA. Wish you could buy to go! Mucho Macho was delicious. We will definitely always come back when we are visiting Isla. It was great to speak to the brewers daughter in the gift shop. All service was great too. Love the new location.

Driving around on the golf cart and swimming all day was amazing but definitely built up an appetite! This was our first stop and it was definitely worth it! Walking in there's a nice shaded area with a cool bar and a little swag store. We started off with the fish tacos that were delicious and super fresh! The sauces were a nice touch of spicy. The beers were super tasty. I got La Mordida IPA and my fiancé got the seltzer de Jamaica which she really enjoyed. It's was light and refreshing. We had a great experience and would definitely go back and recommend.

Their bar and patio is beautifully decorated, it has a rustic feeling. The service was friendly, we were traveling with our one year old and they have baby chairs to accommodate the little ones. We ordered the fish tacos and WOW! They are not stingy at all with the fish and toppings! They brought out a few sauces, I tend to not eat spicy so I stuck with the chipotle aioli. It is a great place to stop by while on the island and has a small shop where you can buy shirts, hats and stickers.

Great place to stop in for a beer and some food when visiting Isla Mujeres. The Hot Mama Cheese dip was a fantastic appetizer, the bacon upgrade is a must. The Mahi Mahi tacos were huge and very good and the shrimp bowl my wife had was great. The kids had a quesadilla and quesabirria which they both loved. I tried the La Mordida IPA and grabbed a shirt. Well worth thr journey there!

Charming beer garden offering good craft beer choices and excellent casual menu. We stopped on a warm February afternoon and were happy with the plentiful shade and seating options. Service was good and helpful. Loved the birria tacos the most but the fish tacos were also tasty. Best tacos we had during our 5 days on Isla Mujeres.

Cool vibes, great service, and a stellar hibiscus seltzer! I normally try not to go to the same place twice, but I couldn't help myself. Their hibiscus seltzer was incredible and would enthusiastically buy it in the US.

    Playa Norte. It was okay.

As a big fan of craft beer, I was looking forward to coming here before we even arrived on the island. The bar was very crowded, but another couple was leaving as we got there, so we took their seats. The staff behind the bar did not seem very efficient, and although they were busy, it took an unusually long time to place our first drink order. I had a pint of both the Playa Norte and the La Mordida, both of which were okay, but nothing to write home about. I was a little surprised to learn that as the staff was running around trying to keep up, the owner was sitting at the other side of the bar relaxing. A new person showed up behind the bar, and even though she said it was only her second day on the job, she seemed more efficient than her new co-workers. I'm not sure how many options they have, but there were flies EVERYWHERE. I had to keep a coaster on my glass to keep the flies from going in. We visited many other outdoor locations during our vacation on the island, and the flies were nowhere near as bad as they were here.

RECENTLY UPGRADED! In the past we would stop by the walk-up brewery for a takeaway 6-pack, but they have recently opened a beer garden near their original spot. Lots of shaded seating with a full menu and craft beer on tap. We love all their beers and sampled a few things on the menu. (Note - they no longer do takeaway beers)

Wonderful small brewery on the island! Was able to try a free taste each before we decided on our options for building a flight. My favorite beer was definitely the Hibiscus one. Couldn't help myself from getting a full pint after trying that one. Very quaint but bright and cheery place. We felt very welcomed and not like we were just tourists. No real seating, but when we visited there was no one else there or on the street really. Will need transport (we used a golf cart) to get around the island to this place from ship docking areas. There was street parking that was easy to do and right in front of the establishment.

First time at this place and didn't disappointed. The food, beer and service is good. Great ambience and the staff was very friendly. I will definitely recommend if you visit the Island but is on the south size and not where most of the tourist activities are.

Came across Isla brewing company looking at menus for lunch one day. Ceviche was amazing and the Birra tacos which you don't see a lot on Isla were really good. I will be back to try the Ramen.

The only beer brewing Company on the island, a little sad that since they moved the new place they no longer bottle their beers only on tap is available, but they've got some interesting beers and seltzers The birria tacos are amazing!!

The best place we visited in Quintana Roo! The beer was amazing. The beer garden was serene. Loved it.

The lovely lady that was working the bar whose name we both already forgot was the warmest, most enthusiastic and positive person you could ever meet! She smiled so much it almost made MY cheeks hurt! She sang along with every song that came on! We had the nachos con res the first visit, and a few of their IPA beers. My favorite was the Mosaic IPA. EXCELLENT beer! The nachos were fantastic, but the two condiments that came with them were REALLY hot!! Consider yourself warned! Also had a freshly made Don Julio Margarita! One of the days, the bar was closed because they were having mechanical issues with the refrigeration system. But the next day we went back and had beef tacos and some more IPA. Again, this lady just made the place vibrant and cheerful. On our final day, we went back and there was a guy working there. This guy never smiled. He was low energy and really should not be working in a position where he deals with the public. Because of his unfriendly demeanor we decided to just have one beer each and go on with our day. Since the order was so small, we decided to just pay cash. This guy tipped himself GENEROUSLY! Let's put it this way. The tacos and I think 5-6 beers cost $53US. He charged us $20US for two beers!! Either way, we had a fantastic vacation, and we will be back as soon as possible!!

A reservation was easy to obtain via email and we were all set for a sunset, evening meal. We were warmly welcomed and promptly seated. The service was impeccable, the atmosphere pleasant with an acoustic duo playing mellow tunes in the background. Honestly, we were a little disappointed with the view that most reviews rave about. Our sever was knowledgeable and made several suggestions. We selected the Pepita Crusted Tuna for a starter, my companion had the fresh catch which was grouper, blackened with a side of the peanut sauce. I chose the Surf and Turf. For dessert, we shared the Key Lime Pie. Everything was beautifully presented, and quite artistic. The tuna appetizer was very good, but the main courses were frankly a disappointment. The creativity of the plate did not make up for the lackluster food. The steak was tough and poorly seasoned, the lobster was just passable but also chewy and not tender. The fish was not as well cooked as other restaurants downtown and again the seasoning was lackluster. The sides, lentils and mashed potatoes were just ok. The homemade Key Lime Pie was enjoyable but again seemed to lack a depth of flavor. If the food could match the service, presentation, and atmosphere then perhaps this could be one of Isla's better dining establishments, until then "the juice was not worth the squeeze."
