This small office consists of two chiropractic treatment areas and a good-sized gym/rehab facility - which is I think indicative of the importance of rehab to treatments at Helix Sport and Spine MI. Every appointment, I work with Dr Korissa or Dr Kyle to get things working better, and then Derek helps teach and train movement that helps mitigate whatever it is that's going on. Both of the doctors are excellent at treating sport-induced injuries, and they're also awesome at helping with the "I spent too long at my desk and now..." issues. Though I haven't been in any accidents to require therapy, work-related stress and day-to-day activities caused a lot of tension so it seemed only logical to get a massage before popping lots of ibuprofen. Visai was assigned as my massage therapist and he was great - one key thing to note is that he took into consideration that it had been years since I had a massage, and so being sensitive was critical for my re-introduction back to the massage table. I left feeling relieved, but not sore - just what I wanted. I went in for a second time (this one with more pressure!) and nearly fell asleep during the massage! So relaxing. Now I just need to remember to bring cash for tips on my next visits.
