I will say they are quite nice. The problem is they still require masks. Yes, still. As of July 2022. Surgical masks. That they will hand you with their bare hands. Surgical masks that are for surgery. Not for viruses. Did I mention this is a dentist. Kinda have to have access to your mouth..... Here is the problem, then still requiring a mask says one of two things. 1. They are ignorant of basic microbiology. That's bad for a medical professional. 2. They would rather cater to sheep than actually educate people on the lies of the media. Unfortunately, as much as they are nice, I can't recommend them because of this mask business. This is the second dentist I've seen in my entire life, so I was nervous at first, but was more than pleasantly surprised at how wonderful everything was. I would only use them for cleanings and basic dental work. This office sent me down a rabbit hole of dental work that is costing me double what they estimated. And yes, I understand what an estimate is, but you need to know the situation to understand, so feel free to PM me for details. Cliff notes: what they told me would take 6-8 months is going to take 2+ years to complete. AFTER they completed the first step of what they told me would be a 3-step process, is when they suggested I see an oral surgeon. Update: I am still happy with the service provided but not with their billing. I had to call them and my insurance company multiple times to make sure I wasn't charged for this visit, and every time I was assured I wasn't going to pay anything. Now, over a month later, I am being billed. I won't be coming back here again and will find a new dentist who is honest about billing. read more

I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes absolute max to be called back and once called back, I have always been seen right away. I've been to other dentists and doctors that you sit and wait in the waiting room for up to 20 minutes and then have to wait again once you're in a chair or room. The are very clear on what treatments are needed, why they are needed, and what the cost are. I have always been able to get any of my questions answered and I have never been talked down too. I went in for my dental appointment for the first time and was admitted right on time. My hygienist was really nice to me and I absolutely love her. Her name is Molly. Also, they were not aggressive in terms of trying to tell me stuff that I don't need to do. My last visit to another dental place they told me that I have to get a deep cleaning and here they told me that my gums are healthy and I'm doing a great job. I heard about this office through a co-worker and decided to check them out. I was surprised to be able to establish care and get a cleaning on the same visit. I have been to dental offices before that tell you that you have to establish care first. They they find "cavities" and want to take care of all your dental work before they will even do a cleaning. Called several dentists and they were unable to schedule time for me. I reached out to Island Dental and they scheduled me in immediately at a time that was convenient for me. Upon arrival the staff was extremely friendly and informative. Dr. Patel took care of my filling immediately and was extremely friendly and helpful! Dr. Patel and Liz took great care of my tooth and made it not feel like a dentist office. They even provided me with food recommendations on places to go since i was new to the area. Best dental office ever! I mean it!! My husband has been trying to have me come here for 2years. Finally after a horrible experience at my last dental office, I decided to try Island Dental. I wish I would have listened to him sooner. I had my teeth cleaned by Molly. She is so sweet. Soon we went back and had my son see Molly. Unfortunately we ran a few minutes late but they got us in and where so understanding. We saw Dr. Patel both times and he was so kind. Today Dr. Patel worked on 3 of my cavities and I had to bring my 7month old with me since I don't have anyone to watch him. The office didn't even bat an eye. They where so kind. The appointment was so fast and so painless. Everyone was nice to my baby and the ladies even took the time to come talk to him when he got fussy. Dr. Patel is so professional and makes you feel so comfortable. His assistant was so nice too and took the extra time to talk to my baby. Everyone is so friendly and professional. My husband and I just left our dentist of 10 years and decided to try out Island Dental since it's closer to us. This was the best decision we could have made. The offices are so nice, our hygienists were so sweet and gentle, while explaining everything to each of us, in detail. I had a filling worked on 3 different times at my former dentist and have had chronic problems for a year. I had trouble finding a pediatric dentist that takes my insurance. I had been seeing Dr Patel for years and asked him about seeing my 2year old. They said they could but at two they could really just do their best since many 2 year olds don't cooperate very well. I wasn't expecting it to go well as my 2 year old can be pretty wild at times. I have always been happy with their services in the past but this staff really blew me away today!!! They were amazing with my daughter and made her so comfortable with them they were absolutely amazing and went so above and beyond! I highly recommend them.
