In December 2023 I visited the dentist for the first time in 10 years, Dr. Cefalo. Trusting and naïve, I told the "dr" this. I also told him that my biggest insecurity was my smile but unsure why. He asks me if it is because my teeth tilt inward and I have a gummy smile. Yes! That's it, I hadn't been able to put my finger on it but gummy smile, hated it. Dr. Cefalo insures me that Invisalign is something that could correct my overbite. Not camouflage. Not help. He convinced me for two years and 3 refinement trays that Invisalign would CORRECT my overbite. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I asked many questions, upon asking for my client files none of which were documented. Only that "dr answered all of pts questions".[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Questions that were along the lines of, would brackets be faster? Is this working? Will my molars come outward as well? (Constant mention of front 4-6 teeth being stuck on bone and they're just being stubborn). Constant ear pain finally led me to a primary care doc, which led me to an ENT. Where I found out Invisalign was never, and could never correct an overbite. When I told dr Cefalo my new treatment plan (pallet expander and two years of brackets) he acted shocked and surprised, saying he didn't imagine it would be so invasive. I also asked him if he could tell I had been grinding my teeth, said yes but nothing concerning. (Shocker, teeth grinding caused my ear pain). Dr. Davis did give me a refund when I brought my concerns to the office, which had me conflicted on what to do next. But ultimately, what Dr Cefalo did was incredibly evil and I think people should know about it. My next question I wanted to be on record Dr, are you dumb? Didn't see a jaw discrepancy and/or thought plastic could fix it? Or are you poor? You needed to scam someone who CLEARLY doesn't come from luck or money (ie hadn't been to the dentist in 10 years)? read more

I traveled to AZ to visit family. Unfortunately, my veneer cover fell off. I had to fix it asap. I did the same service by Chandler Dentistry for fixing my veneer cover this year and it cost me only $64. I decided to come to this one given it has a good review per search. I thought I may use them in the near future. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Immediately after I arrived, I need to fill up 100 pages information.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The place is big. They have a full staff people large office. Website, tech support, etc. I told myself this is an expensive operation. I waited for fixing this simple fix. The system was down for few days per them. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It took me over 49 minutes to finish the paperwork.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I went in the office, the staff insisted on taking an X-ray before fixing the simple gluing the cover on my tooth. I just had a full X-ray in CA. I told them I don't need it. But, they insisted and came back told me they checked my insurance and they will take care of it completely. Finally the Dr came and he checked my tooth and glued back my cover which took him approximately 2 minutes. I got a bill $150 which is way more than what I paid in Chandler Dentistry. I was upset but paid. After one way, I received an email that I still owed them $54 for the x-ray which they said I don't have to worry about it. My insurance will pay. I am very upset and just want to say I f you have a lot of money to spend on your dental, you may don't care to go to this office. But, if you don't want to over spend , don't go there. You are paying for their large operation not the true service. Btw, I their website reviews are controlled by them. You can't post your feedback there! They are over charged customers but you can't post it. read more

When I was 7, I got my two front teeth. When I was 8, I fell on my face and cracked both teeth. One in half and the other just a fraction. An injury like that requires many, many dentist appointments over the years. So it's safe to say I've sat in a lot of different dentist chairs over the years. For me, Chandler Dental has been by far the best. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The staff is very nice and knowledgeable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I have been used to dentists offices that only tell you the price AFTER the work... not here! Before they start anything they give you the cost after insurance so you have all of the info you need to make an informed decision. That simple gesture was mind blowing to me! I have been treated by both Dr. Davis and Dr. Saunders and they are both incredible. There is a reason this office gets all of the "Best in the Valley" awards you see as you enter. Oh, and if you don't believe me, I'm writing this review right after a tooth extraction. If that doesn't convince you I'm not sure what will. Go ahead and switch your dentist! read more

My son and I had been going to Chandler Dental for years. After my son's last cleaning, his father felt something was still off as my son's breath wasn't great. So he took him to his dental office and they found he had gingivitis and had to do a deep cleaning on him. We go every six months so there's no way this shouldn't have been caught before at CD. There, we were always told to make sure he brushes twice a day and flosses. They never did a deep cleaning or suggested he needed one. With this info, I decided to go elsewhere as well when it was time for my next cleaning, feeling that maybe I haven't been getting cleaned properly either and sure enough, I needed a inflammation cleaning which is a step before a deep cleaning. I felt so upset, almost betrayed because again I go every six months and have not been advised of any issues at all. At CD, I've just been told "keep up the great work", "next time give me something to work on" (jokingly) but today I feel my son and I are getting the right attention. Had an amazing experience at Chandler Dental yesterday. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Was greeted by Belle, who is so warm and friendly. She makes you feel so comfortable and talks to you like you are a real person and not just a number.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Dr. Amor was so sweet also. I had a bit of trouble trying to put into words the work I wanted done. She somehow knew exactly what I was trying to say and was able to devise a treatment plan right then and there. This dental office definitely sets a new standard in modern dentistry! After this visit I don't think I'll go anywhere else. When I first arrived I checked in and the front desk staff was very nice. When my appointment time came, Nicole, the hygienist, came and got me and gave me a mini tour of the office. I then sat down and she went through everything with me, providing details and explanations for everything along the way. She did an amazing job with my cleaning...no pain, no discomfort, and a bang up job on my teeth...they feel soooo smooth. When the doc came in (Dr. Levin) he was patient, gave thorough explanations and performed a thorough exam. He didn't recommend anything unnecessary and overall I felt he was very trustworthy. I called this morning at 7A to cancel my 8A appointment. I was hardly able to speak the message secondary to laryngitis that developed overnight and had to re-spell my name. I said that my acute cold had worsened overnight and I didn't feel it was a good idea to come. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was met with a rude and aggressive "so there's no way you can make it in?"[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] That will be a $40 same day cancellation . It's not the policy or money I'm upset about, but the attempt to encourage a sick patient to attend their appt. While the staff may wear masks, the other patients in the waiting room who may be immunocompromised/travelling for the holidays, etc. do not. As a dental office, the safety and well-being of the patients should be paramount. I know this first-hand as my Mom is a very successful retired dentist. She was also appalled at my interaction. I'm sorry to see this office is so thirsty and aggressive for business and a full schedule that they've forgotten this. Great place I looked into a lot of dentists before deciding to finally settle on these guys. They give it to you straight they don't sugar coat anything. Very professional very polite and always on time. I went in for a tooth extraction and I was in and out in minutes with zero pain during the extraction and your common irritation afterwords but that's it. I was referred to Chandler Dental by my sister in law after I woke up in a ton of pain. I just moved to Arizona from California so I wasn't established with a dentist here yet. Back in California, I absolutely loved my dentist so I was dreading finding a new one and was going to put it off as long as I could. One of my wisdom teeth had other plans. Every part of my visit was exceptional. The receptionist was able to get me in same day which was so appreciated, the office was beautiful and so clean, the assistant who took me back was incredibly kind and great to talk to. She kept me calm and constantly reassured me that I was gonna be just fine and she showed real confidence in the doctors she works for. Dr Davis came in and explained what was going on and what my options were and he was very easy to understand. I was numbed by Dr Cefalo and he was VERY gentle. Numbing is my absolute least favorite part of dental work and he made it absolutely painless. Dr Davis' then extracted my tooth in THREE SECONDS. I felt nothing. I was blown away by how quick, easy, and painless the process was. I have a ton of dental anxiety and this office did a stellar job. I will absolutely be back. As a physician myself, This one is the worst dental clinic I have ever been to. Rarely come across dentist - they May show up for a few seconds if you get lucky. Hygienists are not that good. They keep coming up with excuses to get more money out of your pocket. Scheduling staff and front desk staff need a lot of training. Overall a horrible experience. Won't recommend it to anyone read more
