My son has to go every three months for medication renewal and I pay the same co-pay for in office…read moreor virtual for a simple visit to confirm medication renewal. Just received a bill for double my copay on a recent routine virtual visit that listed 2 minutes. Come to find out that they billed twice of what they normally bill to insurance because my son saw the doctor at 5:30pm which is "after hours" verses 5pm, even though the office is open until 8pm. I was never told there would be an additional fee, especially since they are open until 8pm?? Why would you not tell someone that when booked and why would I assume there would be an additional fee if it is not "after hours" when you are open???

Mind you it's not infected, it's healed well, and I've had this appointment for over a week...they told me to bring the discharge papers from the emergency department which I have with me...so why tf don't you as a children's doctor want to do your fucking job!!!??? And to tell me 10mins before the appointment is ridiculous and unprofessional. Highly do not recommend!!!

I'm an active 61-yr-old who has been seeing Dr Timothy Hastings for almost 4 years for hip pain. He…read moretook a conservative approach at first, which I appreciate, not rushing me into hip replacement surgery but administering steroid shots in my hip which helped. Over time, it worsened to bone-on-bone so we decided to do the full hip replacement. Dr Hastings performed the surgery well even watching my blood clotting issues and adrenal insufficiency. Two weeks post-op, a large intramuscular hematoma formed in my thigh due to the blood thinning shots I was taking and Dr Hastings took it upon himself to help aspirate the mass which helped. He is not only an excellent surgeon but truly cares about his patients, which is quite rare today. Thank you, Dr HAstings.

Subject: Request for Review of Orthopedic Care Provided by Dr. Graham…read more To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to request a formal review of the care I received from Dr. Graham during my recent appointment for a newly diagnosed spiral fracture of the third metacarpal. At the time of the visit, I was wearing a temporary splint placed by urgent care and was experiencing pain and swelling. I informed Dr. Graham that I did not feel the splint was fitting properly and asked for guidance regarding appropriate immobilization. I was told that the splint "looked fine." When I expressed continued concern, I was advised to purchase a brace from Amazon and to work on making a fist so that my hand would not become stiff. I was not provided with a specific recommendation regarding the type of brace that should be used, nor was I given detailed instructions regarding activity restrictions or warning signs to monitor. Most concerning, I was instructed to return in four months. I specifically asked whether the intended follow-up interval was four weeks, and I was informed that it was indeed four months. A four-month follow-up appointment was subsequently scheduled. As a healthcare professional myself, I understand the importance of preventing stiffness and promoting recovery. However, I left the appointment feeling dismissed and without clear guidance regarding the management of an acute fracture. My concerns were not adequately addressed, and I remain troubled by the absence of earlier follow-up or imaging to evaluate healing and alignment. I respectfully request that this encounter be reviewed and that I be provided with clarification regarding the rationale for the treatment plan and follow-up interval. My purpose in submitting this concern is to advocate for clear communication, appropriate patient education, and high-quality care for all patients. Sincerely, Lakeisha Simmons, RN

As she is now in her 80's and in failing health it was imperative she receive the top care of healthcare professionals who specialize with what she has. There are only 3 doctors in the state who can treat her for what she has. Hence, Jacksonville is one of the medical facilities one is at and we were very pleased with the Mayo Clinic. The facility is top-notch, the campus is modern, clean, and the staff is terrific. Everyone we came in contact with were helpful and knowledgeable. The place is beautiful, art everywhere, places to sit and relax, history of the Mayo family and how it all came to be, photos, and information. This was all just in one part of it where we were, the ER and Davis Building. They also have quality places to eat and even a full Starbucks here. This is a state of the art hospital with world class physicians. Walking the corridors there an air of calm knowing you or your family member are being treated by the best.
