I actually thought someone left a spilled coffee on the counter. Very interesting conversation piece but a few dollars more than I would spend. The big pieces of soap rocks drew my attention and were priced low. It would take hours to really browse everything. Love that the shop kept the old Keys ambiance.

The Village Square entrance is a bit set in through a gate in a fence...very inconspicuous if you don't know it's there. So we made a u-turn and headed back...My first stop was the Miss Monroe Boutique as I was looking for a certain kind of bag that I wanted to buy. Very cute store - like a mix of Etsy and Lily Pulitzer...unique and distinct items. From there we walked around and checked out all the cool vendor stalls...My favorite was the plants - so beautiful and lush...macrame holders, etc....We also went to Cafe Moka for a coffee and a snack. We sat down in the garden to enjoy our small meal and then we headed on our way...We will definitely stop here again!

I've always had a soft spot for…read morebeautiful artwork so while Ben was finishing up his local craft beers next door, I wandered over to this amazing gallery. The work was just so beautiful with perfect vibrant colors. I could tell they are loved by the locals as while I was there viewing, there was a couple that the owner's wife was speaking to and I could overhear that they were there to get another piece. This is the type of unique Florida artwork that I will want once I get the space for it because though it says Florida, it is just not like all the other typical painting or designs you see. And damn... I'll have to make another trip down to pick them out! :)
