The nerve! The owner, Brenda and her daughter will not return calls, will lie about dates and forget to order items. They expect you to just take off time over and over again but will never apologize or take responsibility. They actually blamed their accountant, Wendy, for charging my bill without authorization. Don't blame her when you know it was you. The only time this company moved fast was when they charged my card. Their techs seem like nice guys but you can tell some of them have much less experience than others. They had to come out at least 6 times to complete this job. While dealing with Charleston Glass, I found Palmetto Glass in WA. NIGHT AND DAY! They are doing the rest of my restoration and specialty glass. I have had nothing but a good experience with them. So I said "I want it redone right" to which he replied "ok, but it's gonna take me about a month maybe more to get the material for the frame because of supply chain issues and I'm gonna have to double charge you for the materials because the frame you selected is one of the more expensive ones." Call me crazy but I just think people should stand by their work and when they screw up own their mistake and make it right. The customers should not get double charge to fix the vendors mistakes. Charleston Window and Glass was our choice based on price, delivery timing and a personal meeting with the owner, Todd, in his office. Todd offered an upgrade to a higher quality (less greenish hue) glass, which no other prospective installer mentioned. It is more expensive, of course, but we're happy we did it. Our shower tile is bright white and the clear, colorless glass enhances the look. As in any construction and installation project there were a few issues with which we were not satisfied. Todd is communicative, visited us personally to review the installation, kept us informed and worked to make sure the issues were corrected to our complete satisfaction. We'll add that his technician, Ricardo, is a young man who is proud of his skills and very committed to customer satisfaction. We highly recommend this company!
