When you are looking for a fun family activity - on an off day from all the nature adventures in the area - this is a great choice! The course is built into a hill next to two different food options (bbq and seafood). As you work your way through the 18 hole course, you gradually travel up and then back down the hill. Each hole is very well designed - and tougher than some other courses I've played. Holes are more authentic to a true golf course - with pins in the holes, "tee boxes" at each start, and even sand traps and roughs! By this, I mean texturally and colored different turfs from standard mini golf. It can stop your ball dead in its tracks! The course has a coastal Maine theme throughout-with a lighthouse, boat, sea life, etc. adding whimsy to the experience. I'll definitely be adding this to my activities list on my annual trip to the area.

Currently they have 2 ARC-1s (which use American joysticks and buttons to my chagrin) but last I heard the owner was looking into buying an ARC-32 (the Japanese style ExA cab which is notoriously hard to get due to most stateside arcade distributors not selling it). Definitely worth bringing a stool or something to kneel on if you plan on playing at the ExAs for a while because they're at a height where you unfortunately have to stoop to reach the controls if you stand. Currently the games on offer are Dynamite Bomb, Chaos Code EXA, Phantom Breaker: Omnia, and Kung Fu VS Karate Champ on the leftmost ExA and Arcana Heart 3 Xtend, Breakers Revenge Chicago, and Axel City 2 (not the Final Storm version sadly) on the rightmost ExA. Personally, I'd like to see them get Daemonbride exAGAIN, Asuka 120%, Vanguard Princess R, Chaos Code Nemesis Experiment, and the aforementioned Axel City Final Storm but I understand the games are pretty expensive and hard to come by. The arcade also has a wealth of pinball tables, some booth light gun games, and some interesting indie cabinets including deathball and the Nidhogg 2 and Perfect Pour DSM Arcades cabs (although there are more that I forgot the name of). They also have Metal Slug 3, sadly not on an original MVS but those are basically impossible to get these days. There's only 1 rhythm game in the place (StepManiaX) so if you're a SDVX or Project Diva player you probably aren't getting your fix here and I think the only SDVX machine in the state is in Portland.

Additionally, all throughout the golf course are the many different plants used to make all the products in the shop. They are also edible. The golf course has a lot to be desired; is kind of run down and had better days. But, everyone plays the same course and it's easy enough to get through the 18 holes. My kid and I got a unimpressive 59 and my wife had a 60. We all got a hole-in-one on at least one hole, though! The facility also has a large 30+ chicken and duck coop which you can feed, and a couple of very friendly dogs. Golf was only $15 for the three of us! The honey and jam I purchased were also reasonably priced along with the rest of the shop. The daughter running the shop is off to college this fall, so best of luck to her. Walking rate is relatively inexpensive but the course has somw good hills to walk around. This yeae qe have golfed there twice. Very friendly service no matter who is in there. We always end up chatting with whoever is working. This year the course was in excellent shapw. Greens were nicely kept. Tee boxes were a little beat up but not bad. For a 2 man crew they keep it well kept. 9 hole course but we usually play blue tees first then white tees. Fun course!
