Just rating the mini golf. Limited access pass is $13 per person to play as many rounds as you want. There are 9 holes many of which are pretty challenging. We had a good time but hope in the future they expand to 18 holes. Looked like kids were enjoying the water park! read more

We rented a cabin and stayed here with my 5 and 9 year old kids plus our 2 dogs. Cabins were brand new and immaculate. Set back from the "fun park." The fact all activities are included in your stay is amazing. My kids loved all the staff!! Can't wait to come back. read more

We're mainly reviewing the ropes course. There's a higher level and a lower level. My daughter is 8 and she chose the lower level. I think she was tall enough for the higher one but decided she wasn't ready for it yet. You watch a video first and after that they strap you on. My kid LOVED it. You could tell how exhilarating the end was with the huge smile she had on her face going down the zipline. So five stars alone for the ropes course. All the other stuff were just OK. It's a nice "top off" to the fun but I'd say the ropes course is the main attraction there. Great way for kids to conquer their fear of heights! read more

Drove down from Bangor today with a couple kids and high hopes for a good time . The kids loved the water slide -it's good to see a lifeguard on duty even though he appeared to be spending a lot ( too much ) of time looking DOWN at his phone and not at the kids exiting the slide and into the pool :-) Rock climbing and trampoline very nice diversions . Lots to do here . Some folks I talked to said the ice cream was absolutely awesome -I didn't try it though . Picnic table area very nice with umbrellas for the sun . 10/10 Highly recommend. My kids had the best day here ziplining, doing the forest walk obstacle course, playing mini golf, and going down the water slides. It was incredibly clean and professional. The kids got the full access passes so they could do everything but my husband and I got guest passes so we could watch which worked for us, but other parents were doing the activities with the kids and having fun! After hiking and doing all the things we wanted to do, this "kids day" was just what our family needed. read more

Great campground! My family and I were very impressed with the brand new, privet, clean bathrooms. Campground pool was amazing too. The kids had a super fun day at the adventure park. Water slides were a big hit. 9 hole golf course was pretty difficult but over all a good time. I will be telling my friends and family to camp here for sure! read more

Very clean and affordable. We are locals and I took my 2 daughters here for the day, we stayed for 6 hours and had so much fun the whole day. Food and ice cream was fast and fairly priced, a lot of parks can gouge you on the extras, but not WAF. Bathroom and water park was very clean and well run. The course in the woods is just for kids- no matter what the cashiers say. We had fun doing the zip line and the high ropes course. Staff were knowledgeable and we saw them helping several older kids on the high course when they got stuck. read more

We spent a long weekend here on a local "staycation." The owners have done an excellent job with the campground and the new water features. The sites are great and the bathroom and shower facilities were very clean. I love the shower rooms - you get a shower, sink and toilet all in one room. The fun park has always been a favorite place for us...we've been season pass holders in years past. For this trip, there was enough to do to keep my 14-year-old and her friends busy while I had some down time with a book at the campsite. The new Splash Zone and the dedicated pool just for overnight campers are wonderful add-ons to the park, and the waterslides are always fun. We are already thinking about plans for next year! read more

We just finished a four night stay in the RV section of Wild Acadia. The facility is new and everything is spotlessly clean. The tent and RV sites are wooded except Loop A which is a great option for pull throughs or those who might be newer to backing an RV into a spot. Although the price on the surface might seem a tad high it includes unlimited fun park passes for every night of your stay for every member of your party. The fun park was really great and the staff was fantastic. If you or your kids are into zip lines, ropes courses, rock climbing, mini golf, waterslides, and a beautiful and clean pool and this is your place. If you need a shower/bath house the one at Wild Acadia is fantastic. The facility is spotlessly clean and the showers are hot with great pressure. There's also a laundry room and a game room in the "barn". The camp store had everything you could possibly need for basics plus lots of fun items for the kids and it was very reasonably priced. I think this is a fantastic camping resort that represents a great value. I can't wait to go back next summer. Honestly you could stay here and never leave the facility, but with a Acadia National Park 20 minutes down the road and lots of great restaurants on the road in between Trenton and Acadia you're gonna want to spend a lot of time there as well. read more

WOW! This place in incredible. From the waterslides and mini-golf to the ropes course and zipline, it was a great day from start to finish! Our family spent the entire day there with not one issue. All the staff was super friendly and helpful and truly made it an experience of a life time for our kiddo that is for sure. Of course, we do live in Maine and this is an outdoor park full of fun activities, so you may encounter a mosquito or two but nothing our young daughter couldn't handle, which says a lot! What a way to enjoy a beautiful Maine day by visiting this awesome fun park and ropes course! The staff here ROCKS!!!! read more

Been coming here for the past few years. They spent some money (well spent) on some of the guest services, tables, umbrellas, a better snack stand. Prices are fair, $15 for the water park, unlimited all day. Cost goes up for bigger packages such as the aerial course, go karts, etc. Go karts, slow, but fun for kids, mind numbing for adults. Aerial course is pricy, and it's hot, stressful and a real workout. But the staff is easy to get to, and very helpful. We'll be back next year again for sure! There are not many "family fun parks" in this area of Maine. If you have kids who just saw too much nature this is the place to blow off steam for the better part of the day. read more

So.... we went to Maine with another family and when the kids saw the ropes out in front went crazy. We promised to chick it out during our stay. First off the ropes course was separate than everything else, just the "basic" package was over $100 per family of four (no rides for adults in that price y'all). This bought us five games or activities (non ropes) and the water slides at the pool. The four children decided to start at the pool and within an hour of being in the pool three of them were throwing up. The staff refunded our money without being asked twice but nary a cup of water or paper towel was offered. When I said something about the pool being cloudy and smelling funny the women at the desk said "we use salt to clean the water and some kids react badly to it." I am not a fan of chemicals but three out of four vomiting kids tells me that maybe they need to look at their water options. And.. all the kids sat staring at the ropes course saying- jeez that would be fun! Well sorry kids, it is a tease to draw you in a gauge your parents. read more

We took a break from hiking the National Park to have a kid activity day. This place was great. All three kids (10, 8, 6) had a blast. We spent a day here on our recent trip to Acadia/Bar Harbor. It's a fun day for the family. Some tips - if you are used to warmer water temps, skip the Max Pass Plus. We bought it for all 3 of us (my husband, son and I). The water was cold, I never went on the slides or in the pool. I also did not do the Aerial climb/zip line, so I would have been fine with just tickets for me. Well worth the cost if you are doing everything. My husband and son went on the Aerial climb/zip line and pool/slides. My son and I had fun playing water wars, and we all rode the go-carts and played mini-golf. They have a pricing outline on their website and printed handouts when you get there. My suggestion is to walk around and figure out what everyone wants to do and buy your pass or tickets accordingly. The park is clean and fun, and the staff is helpful. A nice day out. read more

5 adults and 3 children (9-14 yrs old) had a blast at Wild Acadia. There is definitely "something for everyone" - from very cool ropes course and zip line to go-carts (kids beat the adults!!), challenging mini golf, trampoline, climbing wall, "bouncy basketball" (dads loved this) and of course, awesome water slides. We found ourselves getting exercise without even realizing it. All agreed that the snack bar surprisingly tastey, serving "real" sandwiches, plus the usual burgers etc. They serve Gifford's ice cream which is excellent and so much better than what most other similar places serve. Overall, we found the price reasonable and overall a good value. We will DEFINITELY be back next time we visit the Bar Harbor area. The music sound tracks alone were worth the visit! read more

We had a really fun time doing the ropes course and zip lining. The staff was extremely nice and friendly for the most part (especially Dan!). It was exhausting! A thing to note is that it started pouring and they wouldn't refund our other tickets for other activities - be sure that you are going to want to ride go carts, climb rock walls, and play mini golf after 2 hours of hard work in the ropes course. We wouldn't have bought the add on had we known (and it rained!). But, overall a great trip! read more

We were ready to buy each family member a zip line pass. The staff person BEYOND her years in maturity suggested we go out and look at it first. Our 5 year old decided no. We bought tickets to go cart, golf and bounce for her and 2 zip line tickets for family members up for the heights. Sooooo friendly and customer focused. They MADE money by helping us make a better choice. If we had paid to zip it would have ended in years and a quick escape. This way we stayed...bought other things and even had snacks. I love this place! We brought our kids here twice on our vacation to MDI. It was a great way to spend an afternoon. Our kids really liked Acadia National Park but there was only so much hiking and biking they could do. They LOVED coming to the fun park. We went once when it was sunny and another time when it was raining a little--both were great experiences. I highly recommend this place! And the food is great too. read more
