Then there's the upstairs apparel section of the store. I found nice hats, gloves, home / boat decor, and a beautiful heavy duty thermal my man loved. It's not pictured due to him wearing it immediately upon seeing it. Now it's in the laundry. This place has excellent gift items, necessities, and prices that are super reasonable. We went in to see if they had supplies to repair the line and I guess the guys working there overheard me and my wife talking and offered me a ride to the auto parts store. I thought kindness in this world was gone but I was wrong they took me there and brought me back and assisted me in finding the clamps I needed . These are a great bunch of guys that work here. I ordered online garden supplies support to be ready. Get there and told to go to garden pick up where all mulch is. I said are you sure because I always get the blocks in back and he says yes. Wait forever in line by mulch to be told I have to go in back the original place I asked about and was told no. I go back there and wait 10 minutes for an order that was supposed to be ready and the young guy with awful customer service said he called someone. Yet nobody there locked up and all the guys were with him in mulch. When I said I was told to come up to him he said the guy in customer service was clueless. Dry u professional. I called up about 3 times while waiting in the back and by the time someone answers the was so mad I yelled. I use to wonder why they had a sign up front about treating the employees with recover when I use to live talking to them and they were so helpful nice and courteous. Not anymore. It's a clean, well kept, and well stocked hardware store that is good to have near the beach. The Deets: We had a chance to stop into Robinson's Hardware that's along the main road/causeway right before hitting the bridge to get to Holden Beach. This store was easy to spot from the road signage. We noticed that they have a Yeti sign and one of our group was wondering about some Yeti products, so we stopped in there while also on the hunt for some fishing supplies. This hardware store is pretty sizable while very bright and clean inside. We did find a lot of Yeti brand products here hoping we could find a deal but they offer them at the same or similar price than if you ordered online. But a great selection! We did look through their fishing equipment and although not finding exactly what we wanted in Yeti or fishing gear either one, this place was pretty impressive with inventory and plenty of selection of their hardware related items. We did not have direct interaction with any of the staff/owners on this trip. All in all, this place is a pretty nice/impressive hardware store convenient to Holden Beach and glad we stopped in.

I love Ace Hardware, I always find what I need without getting 10,000 steps in searching a giant warehouse store that has stuff spread out in the strangest ways. Ace is logical and efficient. They are willing to assemble things you buy if they don't come put together. And they have a great BBQ and grilling area, better than any warehouse or club store. Instead of putting ut dozens of the same grills to look complete they only put out display models so they can also show you all the accessories, spices, and teach you which one is right fro your style of grilling or smoking.
