I actually had decision burn-out, as I went in sleepy, not knowing how they expanded this store greatly since my last visit! I left with some super cute accessories but I am considering going back before I had back up North to buy something else while I am not half-asleep! And maybe a super cute and soft towel even though there's no good beaches up north, but the towels were just that beautiful and buttery soft! There's a really dope Halloween design, amongst other awesome designs, and you can put them on a variety of shirt styles! Awesome music was playing, and staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! Especially the two ladies who were helping me; if every retail employee was modeled after these girls, the world would be a happier place and stores could certainly boost their sales too honestly! Compliments to the staff! Whether it's accessories, clothes, decks, surfboards, trinkets, toys, gifts, or anything in between ... you will find it here at Sunrise Surf Shop! A friend…read moreinvited me to join the ECO Mangrove Paddle Tour on a Sunday morning and it's the best thing I did on my trip to Florida. Lisa is patient, a great instructor and makes sure you experience the nature - the spider crabs, the sounds of the mussels, the ospreys and more. Even with beginners, she was able to adapt the tour to accommodate. There was a young woman who hadn't paddled before and Lisa and her assistants kept an eye on her, coached her and even adjusted her equipment to make her paddle even more successful. The assistants are a notable feature. Lisa told us that any time they have a group of 5 or more she has at least one of these experienced paddlers as an assistant. These assistants bring up the back and monitor the group to adapt to speed, take photos, encourage and guide. I highly recommend this tour, whether you're an experienced paddler, have your own board, or need to use the very high quality equipment they provide. The next time I'm in town I plan to take the tour again.

Bought an air fill card which was recently denied by the owner, Tanya Neville. She stated that…read morethey no longer honor those cards and haven't for at least 5 years yet we pre-paid for 25 refills and had 8 fills remaining PLUS we had tanks filled last year. This is FRAUD! She bought the business from her ex-husband on 4/9/25. Since then, the store has gone downhill. She hired kids (which is good) but they are under 18 and cannot fill tanks legally so we left our tanks. When we inquired about hours, we were told they would be opened until 4:00pm but when we drove 45 minutes we found the store closed with no signs on the door. We tried calling but they don't have voice mail set up. She said she gets "thousands of calls" and didn't want to set it up. Employees park in the parking spot reserved for loading/unloading tanks so we had to walk our tanks across the parking lot. We will not be using their shop any longer and I would others to stay away. There are better dive shops in the area.
