Horrible Valentine's Day experience! My husband sent me flowers a day before valentines and what I received was a completely different bouquet than what my husband had ordered. The flowers were dead and ugly. When my husband called to inform them that they had sent the wrong arrangement, he was told they would have to go and pick up the arrangement to make sure that it was the wrong one before they can deliver a new arrangement! I usually only post when I have good reviews but this experience was so horrible I had to post so no one experiences what I did. I ordered through Teleflora and flowers were delivered by Isla's as I found out from the recipient when flowers were finally delivered. I'm not sure how much to contribute the experience to Teleflora but it appears that the horrible service was a result of Isla's. Called Teleflora 5 times yesterday. Had paid extra to have flowers delivered early by 1pm...flowers were not delivered by that time. Then called to have them delivered to recipients home address waited all day and they were not delivered til 5pm. By then the flowers looked unacceptable. Horrible experience. Will not use Teleflora or this florist ever again. read more

My mother was to be the recipient of a bouquet from my cousins and myself. The flowers were ordered by my cousin, who paid extra for a guaranteed delivery time of 1PM. Not only were the flowers not delivered by that time, but after multiple (4 or 5) phone conversations, we were told that the flowers had finally been delivered to my mother's home address. I was with my mom and some family who were celebrating her birthday and I checked both entrances to the house and there were no flowers. I can only speculate that the delivery person had lied to get the phone calls to stop. When the flowers were finally delivered, they were already starting to wilt and there wasn't enough water in the vase. It had presumably evaporated from spending all day in a delivery van in triple digit heat. Also, none of us at the home heard a knock on the door or any kind of notification that a delivery had been made. The flowers were inadvertently discovered when my sister opened the door to get something from her car. If Isla's Floral Boutique & Event Planning can't get a simple flower delivery right, I can only imagine the catastrophic disaster they could reek with regards to a full-fledged event. Please consider this before booking with them. read more

I ordered flowers for my mom for St Patrick's day. The picture was yellow roses and these beautiful green bulb type flowers, the bouquet was to be green and yellow and was in a nice green vase. I ordered on the 8th for delivery on the 17th in the AM. The flowers arrived at 4pm on the 17th and on the 18th around 9am they were drooping and dead. When they were delivered they were a bit brown on the edges but had no idea they were dying. Called the florist (they were open) no answer so left a message, called again Sunday (they were closed) no answer Left another Message, when they did not answer on Monday I called Avas which is the company they have you order through. They agreed to have the flowers redelivered in 3 days!!! Wow really? They also requested that we have the first arrangement there to be picked up. They came and delivered the flowers and picked up the first batch. Completely surprised to be handed a bouquet that was 1/2 the size of the one ordered and this was white and red and with carnations. Nothing as described in the ordered and sure not the correct size. Called Avas back to let the florist know that it was unacceptable and ISLA FLORAL refused to fill the request. They said the flowers were accepted (by a third party, not by recipient) and that was that. So I paid $70 for 3 red roses 6 carnations, some daisies and greenery...Could have bought a better bouquet at Costco for $14.99 What a rip off this store is! BEWARE BEFORE YOU ORDER THEY DO NOT CARE WHAT THEY SEND, THEY HAVE NO PRIDE IN THEIR BUSINESS OR PRODUCTS AND WILL NOT REDO YOUR ORDER!!! read more
