Discovered this place when looking for breakfast places open early on the weekend for my work place. I've come a couple of times now and placed large orders for a variety of breakfast sandwiches. The staff is always super quick and friendly. The place itself is a very cute, home-y deli store. The sandwiches are freshly made to order, and they are quick. I particularly love the hashbrown sides as well. Prices are reasonable too, highly recommend! read more

I'm in the area for a few months now, and I'm still looking for my "go to" deli. It was my first time having a wrap from Islip Country Deli, and it was really good. I always order a grilled chicken wrap with a few things on it, so it's easy to compare to the other delis I have already tried. The wrap was really good, and I had also ordered an iced coffee which I enjoyed. The service is really good, and they paid attention to what you want / ordered. It's a small deli, but has all the necessities that you'd need. They have a parking lot which makes stopping in very easy. Next time I go, I will try out a breakfast sandwich. read more

Just moving to the area from Nassau where BEC sandwiches are $10 minimum. After a night of some beautiful bad decision making, I was hankering for a sloppy salty egg sandwich. I had called two places that received good reviews on yelp. One deli said they don't do eggs... ? And the other deli said they didn't get what they needed from restaurant depot that morning... ? Lmao i'm thinking to myself how hard is it to find a bacon egg and cheese on a Sunday morning?!?! Finally Islip country deli pops up in my search with great reviews. I call in my BEC SPK with hash brown on a roll. Very cozy, homey and clean inside. Super friendly (and cute) staff. As for the sandwich, it was everything I could have wanted and only $5 and change ???? Also I asked for the bacon to be well done and it was crunchy! I am a very satisfied customer and will absolutely be back. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to try some other sammies. Nothing like A SOLID DELI to revive you on a lazy Sunday. read more

Just stopped by for the first time today. SO GOOD! My boyfriend is from Queens and was searching for a good deli out here and we came across this one. I have lived here all my life don't know why I have never been to it. He got the chicken in a pocket and a turkey sub with provolone cheese, american cheese, lettuce tomato, pickled,mustard, mayo, oil, vinegar, salt, pepper. Perfect bread. Perfect local Long Island deli. Quick in and quick out. Their prices were right in line with other delis in the neighborhood. My sausage egg and extra cheese sandwich was prepared exactly as I like it, nice and cheesy with ketchup. Just how I asked for it. The staff was friendly and their salads looked fresh. Bonus because they have wise honey butter potato chips. Can't find those anywhere usually. On site parking available, no place to sit down. read more

Back from Colorado a few weeks back and being a native I was praying for that good hero. I found it. These guys have the perfect combo of meat, cheese and great bread. Ordered the here's the beef. Garlic hero wow.......given what I deem as extra cheese without asking and when asked about au jus sauce I was told no only to find it in the bag when I left. Salads are great, traditional macaroni made with brine, sugar prep. Delicious. Check this place out. Can't wait to get my BEC on a bagel there tomorrow morning.......which I did and it didn't disappoint. Great work team. read more

I love this deli. I work nearby but am not always able to pick up my lunch, so their everyday (free, I believe) delivery option is fantastic. I've never tried their breakfast, but I've had lunch from here literally 100+ times, if I had to guess. They also deliver pretty quickly, I think the longest I've ever waited was maybe 30 minutes, and that's only if it's a really big order. The food is great, decent portions, tons of options, and fair prices. The only reason I didn't rate five stars is because my order has been messed up a few times. I'd say maybe three out of the past seven times I've ordered. It's only been dumb little things, like they forgot to put cheese on one sandwich or something, but it wouldn't feel like an honest review if I didn't mention it. I will continue to order from here because it's awesome. read more

Awesome deli! Work nearby, usually come here at least once a week. Sold my entire department on this place - now this is pretty much everyone's go-to deli in the area for lunch. Great egg sandwiches/breakfast specials as well. Have yet to be disappointed. SO much better than Grilli's, who is probably their main competitor in the area. read more

This deli is the best. They never overcook the eggs, they have fresh rolls and heroes. The salads (egg and tuba) are always fresh and good. They deliver 7 days a week with no minimum. The person on the phone is always pleasant and the delivery guys are nice as well. If there was anything they could improve, they could carry white American and use better bacon. Their bacon is a little thin or precooked looking, but the delicious and consistent food and friendly service more than makes up for that. Glad I found this deli. read more

Wonderful coffee. Breakfast specials good (get the #1 or the #5). In over 3 years only one mistake on order which was quickly corrected. Very generous sized wraps. read more

I ordered a sandwich and it was made perfectly. Very tasty, exactly how I asked for it, great ratio of meat, cheese, and veggies. Very pleasant on the phone upon my initial call. Here is the problem. I waited 1.5 hours for delivery! They said they would see me soon, didn't specify a time frame so usually that means it'll be 30mins or less in my book. I called after an hour and was told the driver was out and my order should arrive very soon. After the next 30 mins I call and receive a frazzled woman who is ma'aming me to death (I hate being called ma'am) and she just keeps saying how busy they are and that she doesn't know where the driver is and she doesn't know how long. I ask her if she could call the driver and just see to which she tells me no she's too busy and I'll have to wait that he'll get there when he gets there. So, while the food is good their delivery service is ridiculously slow and some of their staff could use a refresher course on customer service. read more
