Try to support small businesses as much as possible. Friendly staff, average food. Lack of meat on sandwich was glaring. As well as up charge for tomato and lettuce? And not many delis use actual leaf lettuce....shredded is standard. I don't mind paying for quality, but skimping on product makes this a no go in the future. read more

Come here a lot for Sandwiches. Quick friendly staff, great cold cuts, great sandwich options. I always get chicken cutlet with cheese on a roll. Sometimes the chicken is dry and that's the only reason I'm giving four instead of five stars! read more

I have avoided this deli because the last time I ordered a sandwich it was terrible but that was about 3 years ago...I live so close and really wanted a BEC so I called one in. I added sausage and had it on a toasted egg bagel with butter...it was so good! Big fresh bagel filled with everything (a nice amount of bacon and sausage, over medium eggs, and melted cheese) and cooked perfectly! Such a disappointment. This was my husband and I's second chance at this deli. I want to say there is not anything wrong with the flavor of the food but when you order four egg whites, cheese and avocado you expect to get that which you DON't! This is the second and last time this happened to us. Figured we'd give them another shot. As you can see in the picture there is barely even one egg white on the sandwich and anything resembling an avocado on it was a smushed junk that looked like it was scraped from the skin of the avocado after you're done slicing one. If they got their act together and actually gave customers what they order I'm sure they'd see an increase in regular business. read more

Where to begin on how amazing the Grill's family has been with everything we have ordered. From there clean, beautiful store to the mouth watering food. As usual, I had a hankering for a sandwich, and just happened to be in the neighborhood when I stumbled upon Grilli's Gourmet Deli. This is a typical deli for Long Island, so it was different than what I've been used to seeing here Upstate. Therefore, you have your wall coolers with beverages, various deli salads and a small grill to make sandwiches and such. Yes, it was breakfast time, but I'm more of a lunch guy, so I was glad that they were able to make me a chicken inspired wrap called a Babaganoush during the morning. I just tried this deli for the first time this morning, which is weird because I live up the block from it. I had a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich and it was fantastic. You would think that a BEC would be pretty standard everywhere, but most places cheap out on either the bacon or the cheese and my sandwich had the perfect amount of everything, and so did my husbands. Wow I actualy turned around and went back 1 mile to stop in for lunch. Ordered a godfather hero with a half pound of antipasta chips and an arizona $17.85. As the staff pre cuts meats for sandwichs I wait over 15 min for a horible excuse for the worst antipasta ever and a nice sized hero with great mustard but not enough meat to make it from end to end.
