Decent deli, a 3 1/2 to 4 star, a good place for an egg sandwich or decent and respectable deli sandwich. I had turkey sandwich with L&T on wheat bread. Portion was quite large and reasonable priced. Sandwich comes with a small mac, potato, or cole slaw. Counter people were professional and friendly. I will come back and i will recommend. Just keep in mind this is a good solid standard reasonably priced deli sandwich. This is not an over the top, high priced sandwich spot with named speciality sandwiches coating $15 and more. My large sized sandwich with salad and gatoade was $12 out the door. Thats hard to beat today. read more

Came here to get the rotisserie chicken, I came in at 1pm and they supposedly didn't have it until 4pm. I tried to order the stuffed artichoke next, it was out. Then I tried to get something from their daily menu which was the chicken and rice, she said no again. I ended up leaving and decided to just come back in a lil bit. After walking around, I decided to check back around 3pm. Surprisingly, they now have the chicken. According to the worker, it was in the back and she didn't see it, uhm ok. I got the rotisserie chicken and brought it home. It was good, but to be honest I have tasted better. I also got my mom a chicken noodle soup because she wasn't feeling good. The soup was tasteless priced at $4.99 for a small cup, needless to say, I would not be ordering soup their again. The rotisserie chicken was cheap $7.50 for a whole chicken. Unlike wine that gets better with age, this place gets worse with age. Perhaps new ownership but this place back in the day used to be a great deli. Today, just horrible. Egg sandwiches are comparable to Dunkin' Donuts, and lunch sandwiches are highly overpriced for what they give you. With plentyyyyyy of other delis all over the damn place pick someplace else or With all the jersey mikes opening around I used to say why would you spend your money at jersey mikes ( who are very expensive ) when you could just go to a deli. This Deli deserves nothing less than 5 stars. I stopped here on the way to visit my friend and her new baby and could not go without writing a review as I know I always choose a place based on customer reviews. This deli is so clean, the employees are so helpful and go above and beyond to help. One of the guys even helped me out to my car! Food was delicious and they even accept Apple Pay! Which for an Apple lover had me sold. I wish this deli was closer to home for me! It would definitely be The Deli!!! read more

Great food made the way you want. I usually buy breakfast and tried lunch once too. Both awesome. The owner is super friendly and wants to make sure every customer is satisfied with their purchase. His focus is on getting fresh food out as fast as possi le because he knows time is money, for him as well as for the customers. Great Job and I recommend this deli. read more

The owner and the workers are the nicest people and the place is finally a real deli with people who know what they're doing and the food is great. (This place had a series of failed attempts at a deli.) I have one complaint however, every sandwich I have ever bought completely falls apart after the first bite and it quickly becomes a total mess. I've been looking for a good deli since moving to Babylon and I was thoroughly disappointed with my experience here. The woman behind the counter was very nice, but the sandwich I had was awful. The chicken was stringy, the bread was stale, and when I got close to the counter to pay I noticed the gentleman making the grilled sandwiches was touching everything without gloves, even after touching other items in the deli. Safe to say I will not be revisiting this place. read more

So thrilled to have a REAL deli in the neighborhood. Excellent egg sandwiches, amazing hash browns. Real German frankfurters, rye and potato salad. German specialty goodies at the counter. Clean as a whistle. Always bustling with activity in the morning, but the wait is never unreasonable. You can also call our order in ahead. Yay! read more
