Finally found a great deli in Bay Shore! I have been in Bay Shore since July (almost 4 months), and have struggled to find a good deli. Cornerstone Deli is tucked into a smaller parking lot, right across the street from the hospital. I have passed it many times, and have always seemed to forget about it, until yesterday. There is ample parking in the lot which makes it super convenient and easy to go to. The service was great as well as the staff being super friendly. I had ordered a grilled chicken wrap, with lettuce, onions, cheddar cheese and chipotle mayo. They actually make their own chipotle mayo, it's the best one I have had yet. The wrap was a great size, and the grilled chicken was super fresh. I had also ordered an iced coffee, which again was fresh and tasty. They had a lot of good sandwiches up on the board to order, and I still need to try a breakfast sandwich from there was well. I'm really happy that I found a good deli. Coming from Queens, there are a ton of good delis, and I have had such a hard time finding something good in Bay Shore. read more

Stumbled into this corner deli for a breakfast sandwich and so glad I did. I ordered The New Yorker (Scrambled eggs, Bacon (tons) and American Cheese in a spinach wrap). DELICIOUS! I rarely compliment an owner on a sandwich however when asked how was it, I was compelled and gave it a huge thumbs up. Obviously they care about what product leaves their counter. The bacon tasted likeq bacon when I was a kid. Unlike today's standards where swine are pumped with antibiotics and whatever else you could imagine. He told me his bacon is slab nacon from PA and he cuts and slices fresh all day. This is the difference. Now lets get the coffee! Its brand is Plantation Reserve, wow, good to the last drop. Good food, freshly made, Nice People, walk in not seating, flowers and area outside are attractively placed to the eye, Flags fly saying Deli and yes it is on a corner (see pix) Meatball Palm on a roll with really good sauce that tasted homemade. Also fresh cucumber salad a bit to vinegar, needed fermenting, Italian sub was good. They have a variety of drinks in bottles in the fridge and a small selection of candy, chips and muffins along with other basic salads as coleslaw, and potato. OMG!! Ordered Italian heros today with the works... very fresh, delicious, generous portion of meat, cheese etc and bread was my favorite soft and perfect for hero!
