Last summer, we had a break-in at our condo entrance, and found a need for a Full Length Interlocking Door Guard. (Highly recommended as burglars love to shimmy a screwdriver between your door and lock & open into your place easier than a SPAM can.) Pro Video Security let us select the guard. They gave a great bid to put install. We even chose to do 2 doors, given their great rate. Flash forward to 6 months later we found a small (but significant) installation error on one of the doors. Rather than haggle and hassle, they came right out and fixed it at ZERO extra cost. (As expected.) On top of that: The fix came right on time. We caught this picture of a rather infamous trio (USPS is after them) trying to break in and being foiled by the door guard. SEE PIC.

I wanted to be able to keep a watch on the dogs and also of course on my house in general. I bought the equipment from Provideo and I am all the way in California, so I had a local person install the equipment for me, and Perry took over the remote customer service, which has been far above and beyond what anybody could ever expect from customer service. If anything goes wrong, he is right there ready to help me fix it and get it up and running again. I could probably find someone locally, but there is no way I would ever find such great, friendly, knowledgeable customer service. So wherever you are in the world, these guys are the best!     This company is completely dishonest and operates like a scam. Do not trust them!!…read more From the start, the sales experience was extremely unprofessional. The representative who came to my home was rude, aggressive, and repeatedly pressured me to purchase additional equipment, and leveraged my being a single woman living along to make me feel unsafe in an attempt to purchase more equipment. Customer service has since been terrible. They sent me to a debt collection agency and have no proof to substantiate it, despite my having automatic payments set up making this impossible, and are unwilling to help me resolve the issue. When I called to speak with billing, my first call was connected over and then rang through to voicemail and the mailbox was full. On my second call, a representative refused to help, only saying I needed to work with the collection agency, and then literally hung up on me. On my third call, it was presumably screened using caller ID so my call was not answered. On my fourth call, blocking my phone number, I reached someone who was friendly but had no knowledge of the issue and could not provide answers, other than continuing to say the manager was unavailable and I'd have to work through collections. Despite multiple requests, I was never allowed to speak with a manager. I was repeatedly told that a manager named Dylan was "on customer calls" and would need at least 48 hours to respond. The lack of transparency and accountability is concerning. There is no paper or statement trail they can provide, other than stating they sent me a text message (!!!) as proof regarding this issue, despite reporting the issue to a debt collection agency, which is now significantly damaging my credit score. When I contacted ADT, they acknowledged that my account had a zero balance. Despite admitting I owed nothing, ADT cannot help and Secure24 has refused to correct the inaccurate credit reporting. Instead, they told me to resolve it with the credit bureau. If it weren't for the amount of money I spent on new equipment, I would end my service with ADT and this company immediately, and i still may rebuy everything elsewhere just so I don't have to do business with these people again or give them any more of my money. The equipment is always down, doing a software update, or something to make it appear offline, and not actually even working anyways! Do not do business with this company. They are untrustworthy, disreputable, and willing to damage a customer's credit while refusing to correct their own mistakes.

On a regular basis, when I call for help, customer service is super slow. Each phone call has been at least 30 minutes with most of it being waiting on hold. ...The worst yet has been when they are scheduled to come here and show up with the wrong parts, This then means more phone calls where most of my time is on hold and another day where I have to block off time on my schedule. If you are looking for a new security system, consider someone else. I too will be shopping very shortly.

    I've been an ADT customer for quite some time and unfortunately, I'm very disappointed with the…read moreservice. One of my exterior cameras has been out of commission for over a year, and despite continuing to pay for it, nothing has been resolved. The camera is mounted so high that it's completely out of reach for me to troubleshoot on my own. When I finally contacted ADT to request a technician, I was told I'd have to pay over $100 just for someone to come out--before any actual repairs. On top of that, they charge an additional fee for every 15 minutes the technician is there. I already pay a premium for this system, which includes multiple cameras, a booster, and an alarm system, so it's frustrating to feel like support comes with a price tag every step of the way. To make matters worse, the overall system performance is unreliable. The connection is consistently poor, and my doorbell camera only works when it feels like it. For what I'm paying, I expected much better reliability and customer service. Once my contract ends, I'll definitely be switching to a company that's more dependable and puts its customers first. ADT might be a big name, but my experience has been far from premium.

    I have used Alert since 2006 and they have been much more reliable than ADT and AT&T which I…read morepreviously used in different homes. Quick response, rare false alarms, reasonable pricing. This review is also about their tech support which we had to call for a lot in the past year: first to upgrade our system as we put it in 18 years ago; and then because we remodeled our basement so they had to come out a few times to deal with construction dust setting things off, moving motion detectors when walls were moved, adding new window contacts etc. Two of their service techs specifically are amazing: Gus and Mara. I feel extremely lucky when they send either of them out. Especially Mara. She stands out as being the most competent service tech - of *any company* I have ever dealt with. She assesses the situation, makes recommendations for better solutions, advocates for the customer if needed, and then executes the solution flawlessly, efficiently, quickly. Again shout out to Gus who is A+ but I have to give Mara an A++!

Originally the service guy ( Joe ) stated no problem i will not start billing until they set up lies more lie . the DIY system are junk ( crap )but so far they back up the shitty product . They want money and they Absolute horrible customer service .
