I'm really disappointed with Melissa Alvarez, she is in charge for invisaglins in white plains NY 10601. She has no idea how to respect customers. My daughter went in for a checkup alone because I was working. Melissa Alvarez walks into the room with an attitude asking my daughter if she came with a parent. My daughter said no and thought it was okay since she gone alone in the past before. Also, she is 18 years old. Melissa Alvarez had the audacity to say to my daughter, "Okay but who paid for your Invisalign's?" excuse me? it was the disrespect she gave to my daughter. Melissa Alvarez explained how she couldn't do anymore treys of Invisalign's because it's already been five years. If she gave RESPECT and wasn't being NASTY to my daughter, everything would have been fine. I had to come in eventually, mind you I left my job to speak to this women, to hear what she had to say but she decided to give me an attitude AS WELL! Ridiculous and very UNPROFESSIONAL. I told her to show some respect and she started making faces towards ME. ACT LIKE A CHILD. I wanted to report this, but she said she is the head for Invisaligns here and stated it in a cocky way. Clearly, she needs to be replaced. I then spoke to my daughters dentist, (who was very professional and kind) so she could check her teeth. But Melissa's presence in the room made us uncomfortable. The dentist was explaining to my kid another choice for Invisalign's but I could heard Melissa in the background speaking to a different dentists asking what was for lunch! We had an appointment to have an adjustment to my sons braces. Had to wait for an hour before being seen. Then the dr said they couldn't make the adjustment today because they were too booked up, unless we wanted to wait potentially the whole afternoon. Couldn't you have told us that when we first arrived? Or before we even left to drive there? Awful. Absolutely no respect for people's time. read more

My experience has been subpar, seems unprofessional, I've had to wait for extended periods because the front desk staff not able to properly coordinate waiting , doctors seem inexperienced, patients, for example my daughter needed a 1-minute bracket fix but we had to wait for 40 minutes because she said they were understaffed but people who came in after us and had more lengthy procedures were put ahead of us. My older son went to an amazing orthodontist in Larchmont so I'm able to see the huge difference in quality or care. I will most likely transfer my daughter to a more experienced orthodontist and I definitely don't plan to send my younger child here. read more

With any medical treatment I always do a lot of research and ask a ton of questions, I narrowed my search to only the Top 1% of Invisalign Orthodontists in Westchester and NYC. I had consultations with four Orthodontists, the treatment plans recommended by all four Orthodontists were fairly similar and the cost was also in the same ballpark. iSmile Orthodontics was not the least expensive but was towards the bottom of the spectrum, their plans also seemed more "all inclusive" if there were any additional services or visits needed. I ultimately decided to be treated by Dr. Helen at iSmile orthodontics, she and her staff took a lot of time to answer all of my questions and ensure that I had the information I needed to make an informed decision about my dental health. Daniel, their treatment coordinator, was so nice and helpful during the whole set up and process of our consultation. He really helped tie the iSmile experience together for me. During treatment it was easy to get an appointment and my appointments always ran on time. Dr. Helen and her staff were always very pleasant to work with, they all seemed like they were happy to be at work. I ended up needing dental work that could have impacted my orthodontic treatment, Dr. Helen worked with my regular dentist and the process was seamless when it could have been very disruptive. After my treatment concluded Dr. Helen has been accessible and responsive to my post treatment questions. On an important side note: iSmile orthodontics offices use the Invisalign scanning device, I didn't really consider it a point of differentiation when looking for an Orthodontist but it was a huge time saver during the process. Very disappointing experience. Lots of people working there but nobody picks up the phone when trying to make an appointment. They often do not call back after leaving voicemail messages. Long waits in the waiting area and definitely a clinic feel. No privacy while the doctor is working on you. If your an adult you may not like having your braces put on next to a 10 year old. If you got a great price then maybe you will find it easier to put up with the poor management. My private practice doctor who charged a lot, moved his practice into this awful place and now I'm stuck. Just wish they would pick up the phone or call me back so I can schedule my last appointments. read more

Ive been taking my two daughters here for more than a year and it's waaaay better than the orthodontist I have. Clean, modern, nice place and the assistants and doctors have all been nice and helpful and I must say... I have no complaints. Which is quite refreshing! Ismile orthodontist they've treated two of my children very well. My oldest has the most perfect teeth because of ismile off orthodontist. My second child she also has Perfect Teeth and she wears her retainer consistently. The doctors are very kid friendly and I am very satisfied with them. During my most recent experience at iSmile Orthodontics, I was seated in the doctors chair as soon as I arrived at 9:30 in the morning. The orthodontist I have been working with, Dr. Helen, is warm and has consistently provided top notch service since starting my treatment. I have a 55 tray (full Invisalign treatment - 2 years) and I am about halfway through. I cannot believe how my teeth have transformed, including my bite which makes it more comfortable to chew food, and brush my teeth. I didn't realize what I was missing out on. If your teeth have relapsed from childhood braces like mine did, you should not delay. Make a consultation appointment, Invisalign has been well worth the investment for me and financially manageable through their payment plans. I would absolutely recommend iSmile to anyone! read more

I would never recommend this orthodontist. My son saw them for over 2 years and he is still not done with his treatment. When started we explained our time table and they said he would be done in 1 and 1/2 years with out a problem. I now have to go to another orthodontist to finish because we are no longer in the area. Waited hours for appointments in the office. Communication was sketchy. No communications about treatment unless I specifically asked. When trying to transfer records they couldn't find him in the system. I felt like there were non-stop problems every time I had to deal with them. read more

I would advise anyone to stay far away from this place. After coming here for a consultation I signed a contract to get my bottom braces put on. The orthodontist had his assistants do all the work and didn't even check to see if it was done correctly. After about a year, I began having unbearable pain on one of my front teeth. I went to my dentist to find out the bottom bracket was placed incorrectly and was causing trauma to my upper front tooth. After doing some testing my dentist determined my front tooth was dead and a root canal was my only option. I called the office and explained the situation and even offered to have my dentist call them directly. They didn't want to hear about it and denied any wrong doing. I wish I never stepped foot in this place! $1,500 in damages it caused on top of the $2,500 I spent on the lower braces. read more

Worst orthodontic office you will ever visit. Don't be fooled by the iPads and flat screens; there is no management there whatsoever. The billing system is inaccurate, the office is mainly run by interns and assistants. Absolutely no privacy between patient and orthodontist because there are many interns and assistants standing there staring at you, and there is one space that takes 3 patients at once. Worst of all, the receptionists are extremely rude, don't know what they're doing and mess up the billing. Sometimes they will send you a receipt, sometimes they won't and their attitude is off the walls. Only one orthodontist there actually knows what he is doing, but overall, seek another orthodontic office, one with an office manager and professional atmosphere, with experienced receptionists. read more
