Love the clinic. Kenney is the main coach and has been amazing for my son. The other coaches are great also and I feel like he has grown in the short time he's been there. They work on shooting, drills, dribbling and have multiple Options on days to go to clinic. What we love most about ISO is the team culture and the energy, enthusiasm, and motivation that the coaches bring to every training, practice and game. A basketball program is only as good as its coaches. The ISO coaches are knowledgeable and inspire their players to push hard while encouraging them to communicate and trust each other, thus building a supportive team culture. We love that they provide intense physical training, but also focus on the mental aspects of the game. The coaches foster player self-sufficiency to encourage positive decision-making. It also speaks volumes when you have the head coaches training players who are just developing and not just focusing on advanced players - that's patience and dedication! What is important to me as a parent is the communication style of the coaches and how they relate to their players. The ISO coaches will stop a play to "explain" to players how they can improve in a situation or why something is necessary. No one likes losing, but when we do lose, the coaches do not get angry, but instead sit with their players and go over the strong points and the areas where the team can improve. I waited a day to post this. I wanted to commend the effort of ISO Elite to expand its influence into the elementary schools here in Chino Hills. It's inaugural season gave all the schools a 3 month season and a very nice tournament. I guess I'm getting old...but after watching most of the league play and then the tournament I can't give it a high review My reason is after watching how they teach 3 basic plays to all the teams... then letting them play it out is a little sad Dribbling was the weakest part overall in my option. It showed its ugliness in the tournament by one team who simply couldn't dribble unless they carried it over, dribbling above the shoulders and making it look like a showcase clown game- not fundamental basketball you'd see for a 12 year old After all this - when asked a staff member why no calls by the ref's were NOT made- their reply was the game would take too long, disrupt the game and of course made other excuses. So despite ignoring a simple rule in basketball, the usual crap of self entitled "stars" on the team... the game goes on. ISO staff did agree that this dribbling was improper but let the kids have fun and only selected rules will be enforced... like we don't like the 3 second rule or hand checking... but we will call moving screens and shooting fouls and just a few traveling calls because the game would take took long and our self entitled youth stars who have been told they are good their whole young life can continue with their illusion. So in the future Pay your fees Let them have fun But don't think they will learn the fundamentals read more

These coaches are top notch and really care about the kids they mentor. They are extremely professional and patient. My son has been with them a little over a year and in that year, the improvement and confidence in his game has shown. To everyone on here giving 5 stars don't give 5 stars. This program is such a dump. The manager doesn't even know what his doing half the time there. The dam coaches are not even coaching you have a beginner class that just acts as a day care for kids and an advance class doing the same thing over and over. There isn't anything the coaches can teach your kids. If you want a great program where your kids will excel and be better go to edge, uptempo , OGP, other programs are way better than this program! Coaches are not professional at all. You have the beginner coach acting like a kid to the players that's not what I want to see I want my kid to learn and not just be there. ISO program for travel ball would not recommend. Trust me the teams don't play in any competitive games they stick to cheap and easy games for your kids not to learn or your kids to just sit in the bench. Practices aren't really practices. I have had a lot of my friends being there kids in and when you watch the games you can tell the kids didn't learn anything in the program. Please guys invest your money right if you want your kid to learn and become a basketball player don't come here! If you just want them to be soft and more of a day care my all means come. read more

I've experienced many trainings and clinics throughout Southern California and none of them compare to iso elite. Here is why. Coaches- they have a great staff that can improve your game at any skill level. Whether you're child is a beginner or at the college level. They have multiple coaches on staff so if necessary they can break down the steps to your kid on the side without disrupting the rest of the drill. They pay attention to details and don't let the kids run through the motions. Great energy from start to finish. We went to a lot surrounding basketball training programs as our boy loves the ball game. Each program has its strengths and problems. Most training programs have one or two great coaches there. However, after several years of extensive search, we decided to go with ISO Elite, a not so well-known organization with a not so impressive gym, for its energy/passion and a well run training program. First thing first, the high coach to student ratio and attention to individual growth. They usually have 4~5 coaches running the clinic / team practice. They give individual instruction patiently to help each player. This is not common in other programs. Well organized curriculum. They have a focus on fundamentals and have enough coaching staff to separate players into subgroups and give level appropriate instruction. The practice is quite intense and well designed. Coaching - Coach Kenney is great in both practice and game coaching. He is professional, mature, and patient. He tracks players growth at the individual level and is able to motivate and discipline young players effectively. Every day practice! The gym is open Monday through Thursday with Friday being team practice. They run the program even on MLK and President Day Mondays! That shows their passion and dedication to basketball! Players may come once/twice/three times or more per week. This may help parents plan kids activities and serve different goals in kids' engagement with sports. read more

My son started with ISO Elite basketball about two months ago because I wanted to find training that would help him improve his basketball skills. After the first time we went to "clinic", he loved the experience and decided he wanted to continue going. He recently made the ISO travel ball team and absolutely loves it. The coaches are great, knowledgeable and know how to train youth which is very important! The improvement I have seen in him is amazing! He even admits he has learned so much in these last two months and even though there's a lot to learn, he says he loves the game and the experience here at ISO Elite.
