The first visit, the nurse was very nice BUT she was clearly not trained well enough to be aiming a laser at my skin. The laser kept slipping from her hand. She also had to call someone to ask the laser settings and how to change them. The second visit, I requested the doctor complete the service thinking he would be better, but it was most definitely not. When he walked in the room, he was clearly in a rush. Did not say hello, did not ask how I was. He just grabbed my arm and starting pulling it, looking at it, and then started punching settings on the machine. I was extremely nervous now as his demeanor was not gentle or welcoming, but I stayed. He LEFT THE ROOM in the middle of laser my tattoo for minutes simply saying "one moment." Leaving my arm to start getting red and swell a little from the half he had started on. This was the worst service experience I have had. Not to mention he missed parts of the tattoo and did a half-effort job. Tattoo removal is scary and pricey. Let me tell you, go somewhere you feel confident walking in and out of. I just got my first session with SoCal Body Institute in Chino and I am beyond happy. It was a completely different and proper experience AND my healing has been twice as fast with double the results.

We got started right away and she made me feel so at ease. And that's the best thing about her! Our time together was very pleasant and entertaining! And that's why I felt comfortable enough to tell her when I wanted adjustments to my hair cut. Usually, I feel too shy to say anything at all. For my cut, I went from very long hair to a "bob." She finished it off just how I wanted it and even styled it like the video I showed her. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! UPDATE 5/10 I went back to Sylvia to get a trim (since my hair grew in quite a bit) and also some color. Before she started, I asked if she was a color expert... and of course she said yes. I showed her a picture of what I wanted, which was pretty much an ashy grayish balayage on my short hair. After 3 hrs of the process, most of which was spent under a fan (which would constantly shut off and she'd have to turn it back on-pretty annoying) my hair came out to have choppy orange and blonde colors. She said it was orange because I used to have red in my hair... which i understood for the most part... But after 3 hrs and $140+ later, I'd expect better. Her suite is also right near the entrance, so it's super easy to find without having to wander through the building. Her space is clean, welcoming, and relaxing, and she is friendly and easy to talk to. During my visit, I booked a wash, scalp steam treatment, clarifying treatment, and style, and it was such a great experience. My scalp is prone to buildup, and after the clarifying treatment it felt so clean, refreshed, and healthy. The steam treatment was amazing and really helped everything absorb into my hair and scalp.
