He came and picked up the laptop so he could try to diagnose the issue. Well, after testing it and looking at it, he said there was nothing wrong. And the darn thing was charging for him! Doh! He promptly dropped my laptop back the next day and wasn't going to bill me because there was no issue to repair. But, given the efforts he had put in and the driving back and forth, it didn't feel right so I gave him something to say thanks because he absolutely deserved it. AND....not sure if he gave the thing a pep talk but my laptop has been working perfectly since then. Dan is professional, communicative and timely. All things I really appreciate in anyone, especially a vendor. His initial quote on the repair costs was also very reasonable and I appreciated that he said he would let me know if it would cost more than the quote and that he would get my approval before doing any repairs. I called around and talked to Apple and a few other repair places before finding Dan through Yelp. I'm so happy that I went with him instead of one of these other overpriced places. Dan sent me the link to where I could buy a screen on eBay, and afterward came to me to pick it up and then dropped it off the next day. The computer works perfectly, at a third of the cost. I will only be using him in the future for any help with my electronics.

Despite numerous attempts (and diagnosis time/effort), Outlook just refused to connect up with my email server (Google). I used Yelp, rather than the 800 number (which reportedly is slow in responding). Well a Yelp inquiry wasn't much faster as I didn't get a response for a day and one half. The good news is that Ken got back to me and things went well after that. We set up a remote access day and time. The remote access works really well and he was able to figure out a couple of details that were blocking the connection (cached incorrect credentials, Google Access issue, Registry issue and 7 unneeded and worthless .OST files). He even suggested a better virus protection software product along with improved Ad Blocker software. I am very pleased with the knowledge and support of Ken. They charge for a minimum of one hour and he had me working in 40 minutes. He told me that if I have another issue, I can use the remaining 20 minutes of help.
