Lost my iPad in SC and I just received a replacement. However I locked it and could not recover a password or code. Apple support suggested to go to IT WORX. The manager technician was extremely helpful and the service performed was quick and the price is competitive. They are an authorized Apple Repair Service Center so you don't have to drive to Greensboro for repairs. The guy there is Rio (sp) is polite friendly and extremely helpful. Check it out! 1st visit to IT Worx was very positive. They assured me they could take all of the data off of my Mac and store it on a hard-drive that could be read by a PC. I am a Senior citizen and cannot afford the price to replace a Mac . When I picked it up, they assured me it would be readable by a PC. I tried, my husband tried. Would not open. Went back, as they had told me they would help if I had trouble. Turns out they formatted the hard drive incorrectly, so it could not be read by PC. They charged me $64 to correct their mistake. I am on a fixed income. I would never recommend them afterbthis. read more

Came in today with my sons iPad thinking I needed a new battery, or worse. These guys immediately figured what the problem was and it was back up and running in no time. Turns out it was a simple solution. I now have a happy 5 year old. This was my second visit to them (first time was with an iPhone, and both times was provided with great service. I am not a satisfied customer. The dishonesty and poor customer service has turned me completely off. The customer service was deplorable. I dropped my mac and 2 external hard drives off for repair on the 10th. I got a call about a week later that the hard drive had a bad sector and that it needed to be placed on a special machine. I approved the additional service. I get a call 1.5 weeks later stating there is a fee for this service that needs to be paid to initiated. I told them this was not communicated previously and that we have lost about 2 weeks of service time. I call back the next day to question about this and was able to speak to the manager, who is the original person I spoke to. He proceeds to tell me that he told me that there was a fee when he called 1.5 weeks perviously and I said I was coming in on a Monday. This is where the first lie was told. I told him that has to be completely untrue, due to the fact that I work 2 hours away and had a doctor's appt the next day. He then says I can pay over the phone. I said why wasn't that offered before. He then proceeds with another lie and states that he has been trying to call me several times and that my voicemail was full. This is when I became livid. The reason is, I have a google voice number that I can track all calls made to me whether I pick up or not and it is backed by a 2TB Google cloud storage. It would never be full. Not to mention, I have received multiple voicemails in the last week. This is when I decided not to continue service because of the dishonesty and refusal to honor their mistake. It sadden me that the manager did not own their mistake or would attempt to lie to cover their oversight. read more

I recently took my MacBook Pro to IT Worx on the recommendation of Apple's Customer Support. (The magport charger was blinking dim green and orange, the battery indicator would not light, and the computer would not turn on at all.) IT Worx charges an automatic $55 to diagnose the issue but this amount can later be applied to the total repair cost (which is nice). After the inspection, they determined they needed to change the magport (another $56, $111 total parts and labor). Once completed, the issue persisted. They said they needed to change out the logic board on the computer and estimated an additional $590 parts and labor (at $85 hour). This did not include a $85/hour back up - which, by the way, I'd need to supply a hard drive or could purchase one from them). The total cost would have been way more than replacing the 4 year old computer with a new one. After reading about similar issues online, I ordered a $30 battery off eBay, and picked up my computer from the IT Worx store. When the battery came, it was a 10 minute install, and the computer fired right up. All my data was there, and so far no issues. If I can google it, they could have and should have too. All in all, they had friendly staff, but I really cannot recommend their services. (I guess smiling at someone while they divest you from your hard-earned money is more pleasant than the alternative.) read more

I have been to this location twice, first time to fix my MacBook Pro and second to fix my iPhone 7 and both times were unbelievable and had great customer service! I highly recommend this location instead of driving all the way to the actual Apple store in Greensboro. The employees are very patient and understanding with you! You can always call to make appointments or ask them for advice over the situation. At the end of the day, if you need your Apple product to be fixed, this is the place! read more
