I've had a really good experience here. Very much a nice little hole in the wall repair shop. The prices are more reasonable than other places around. On the trade-off, the parking lot in this area is going to be a serious nightmare to navigate. This whole section of businesses along the road are though. This reminds me of a place I used to work though...A bit disorganized looking inside, The kind of place that doesn't value fancy high-end presentation to make higher priced sales. Don't get me wrong there's definitely a place for businesses like that. You're going to probably get a more high-end professional experience, with a bit faster turnaround at one of the more corporate style PC repair places. But for the everyday person who just wants a simple experience working directly with small business owners who are very friendly and easy to talk to, this is the type of shop I recommend. And as a plus, it'll likely save you some money. read more

I had an issue with upgrading my old hard drive to a much newer one in my custom desktop; Ben was able to quickly diagnose my issue which multiple online support teams failed to understand, and additionally identified and rectified future problems with my upgrade I had not yet encountered or had any knowledge of. Ben does a great job explaining what's happening with the computer and what he did to fix it, and he finished the job with my PC in just one day. His services are reasonably priced, and you can't beat the communication and speed of service. I don't know about some of the older reviews, but now that Ben is running the show, your computer is in good hands, and I would highly recommend Affordable PC Services to anyone, especially if you need help with cloning your boot drives! read more

My printer died and I bought an identical reconditioned printer so that I couldn't possibly have an installation problem. But my PC absolutely refused to recognize the new printer, leaving me incredibly frustrated. Called this place and a really nice guy who turned out to be the owner came to my home and resolved the problem. Just as I need a trusted mechanic for my car, I need this place to keep my computer from driving me crazy. read more

We would definitely use Affordable PC Services again again and recommend them to friends and family. Affordable PC Services provided knowledgeable and quick service and gave us an accurate estimate of repair time. We took our two 5 year old laptops in and had them back the next day with new solid state drives that replaced the old failing mechanical drives. Professional pleasant service was provided for a fair price and we are very pleased to have our two old laptops back running sooo much faster! Went in because my flash drive stopped working that had all my pictures and music. I was told I'd hear back in a couple days, but never did. I called and was told they were working on it and it would be a couple more days. I never heard back, again, so I called (yes, again). I was told they were working and would let me know. I was so frustrated, I almost went and picked it up, but left it alone. I called back about a month later and was told since they couldn't fix it, they just threw it away. NEVER got a phone call asking if that was OK and wasn't able to get a second opinion. Lost all pictures and music. Will never go here again and wouldn't recommend it, either. **Update: I was directly contacted by the owner who apologized. Because of his professionalism I raised my rating from 1 to 3. read more

Update....so we had to call the owner again because he has terrible customer service skills. The computer still isn't fixed and he still hasn't upgraded the computer after having it for 5 days. The owner quoted the repair at $135. It's been a 5 day repair (so much for that 24 hour promise) and he wants $165 now (this is what he calls "a discount") and is still working on the update. In the meantime, I'm behind on business thanks to this owner not knowing how to operate his business. This business owner will get an ear full when/if I pick up the computer today. To other business owners: do not do what this owner has done. If a client calls, answer the phone. If a customer calls and leaves a message, immediately return their calls. This owner has absolutely NO customer service skills. He has good ratings on Yelp and that's why we decided to use this company. If after reading these comments I have made and you decide to use this company, that's on you. You have been warned. read more

7/11/19 My refurbished laptop stopped working when I dropped it. I stopped in at Affordable PC Services to ask about possible repairs or replacement and was thrilled with the quick and affordable solution Ben proposed. I was having issues between my laptop and printer and needed to have my resume printed. I went to Affordable PC Services and spoke with "Ben". He said he could print it and have ready in 10 minutes. After not hearing from him in over 40 minutes, I called. He said that he had printed it, but my laptop suddenly stopped working and the screen remained black. (My laptop was old, but never had it black out before.) He talked me into to buying a Lenovo laptop that was only two or three years old. He said he would transfer my files to it and would have it ready in an hour. I told him I would come back the next day after my interview and pick it and my old laptop up. I returned the following day, Ben assisted me with caring my laptop and it to my car (very nice). I got home and noticed that Internet Explorer didn't work and that Microsoft Office wasn't loaded. I called Ben and advised. He said he knew he loaded it. I drive back in HEAVY traffic. He powers and says, "See, I did" and I said, "Hit open". He did and got the same message that product wasn't installed. He said he would correct in 10 minutes. He did. I even bought the Samonite backpack. (Ben never said he was sorry for inconveniencing me nor offered any type of discount. I get home again and attempt to update Windows. It said 182 files needed updating yet, kept getting failed messages. After many hours of running diagnosis software....I was able to get it to update the this morning, but still can't get Internet Explorer to work. I called Affordable PC this morning at 10:35am (Hrs today 10-1) and left a not so nice message. No one has returned my call yet. read more

I was charged $110.00 to replace hard drive, but when I got laptop back it would not pick up network if I was more than 5 feet from modem. I carried computer back three times and they could not fix it. I don't think they know what they are doing.
