They were always smiling, courteous and ready to assist you with anything you may need. My first thought was that I would never have dreamed that I would get married in a place like this. The Unique shape of the front exterior is both architecturally appealing and welcoming. The clean white interior makes the entire entrance area light up and the beautiful wood accents help to guide your eye. The coy pond in the front window is an amazing addition to the ambiance. Above you when you walk in is a bridge joining the 2 sections of the upstairs portion, (Amazing for "sneak peek" photos before your ceremony). The large wooden double doors open and suddenly you are in this perfect ballroom with a stage. A stage that seems like it has had an entire room built out in front of it with a gentle semi-circle curve that combined with the 3 tiers of the room allow for perfect viewing from almost any point. Finally there is the garden, an Oasis in any definition. Surrounded by an industrial area in the west of the city Oasis hides a beautiful open garden in the back with a lawn area, stage for outdoor weddings, many flower beds, a pond- complete with small waterfalls, and trails around the sides and back. All of this is lined by large trees that do a great job of removing the reality that all around is large grey buildings. We personally dealt with Marthe, our designated wedding planner, that was provided to us and an employee of The Oasis Center. She was for lack of a better word; Amazing. She responded quickly to any email we sent, kept us informed of any changes, called us to check in, scheduled appointments, worked around our schedules, and finally on the day of took care of everything in a careful and professional matter. Everything was smooth, on time and went of flawlessly. This was in no small part I imagine, due to Marthe. I would like to come up with something that would make this review more 'believable' and not just a fluff piece but I really can't. The price did stretch the limits of our pre-set budget but that was a decision we made and is no fault of theirs. Looking back now it was worth every penny and I wouldn't have traded it for anything. The Oasis, (and Marthe), provided us and our guests with the definition of a perfect day and if you are lucky enough to have your wedding here I'm sure you will feel the same.

I liked that there was seating for those that wanted to sit and standing tables as well for those that were mingling around the room. The lighting was well suited to the room and I found the temperature just right. I find that for events like this, it's important to have a comfortable room where people don't feel too warm or cold. The bar was situated in the middle of the room and I found that the setup was just well thought out for traffic flow. Speaking of traffic flow, I like that there was ample parking for attendees.

We went there…read morefor their Christmas special event, "Glow" and I'm not sure if they have the same issues all the time or this issues were related to their Christmas special: Parking is a disaster. I was driving around for a while to be allowed to go to one of the parking areas and it seems the traffic was not planned or controlled properly. Then the parking was all icy which is a safety hazard knowing a lot of young and older people walk there. Then we got inside and although it was nice, it wasn't worth the money and energy. I personally didn't feel Christmas spirit and originality. Everything about the setup was very mechanical without soul. Like a robot maybe! I think something like "candy cane lane" is a lot better experience and it gives a feeling that your in a Christmas painting. I will go back there for the market itself after holidays. I think I may enjoy the market better.

One could enjoy oneself here, if one: 1) lived in St. Albert; 2) had lots of money to burn, and 3)…read morehad low expectations of this Centre acting as the greenhouse it replaced. Beautiful space, but better suited for elderly mall-walkers and special events. Truth be told, there are few actual plants, particularly annuals, on offer. They seem to focus more on specialized seasonal plants, like poinsettias and Norfolk pine at Christmas, and decorative items like pumpkins, terrariums, and tropical plants. I came in mid-September for fall bedding plants and was shocked to find there were almost no plants, a few potted mums with tightly closed buds, and that was it. Not even a marigold in the whole place! What perennials they had left were leggy, there were a few scraggly trees and some sad looking pansies. Quite a pathetic showing, shocking that Home Depot and Canadian Tire have better selection! All this greenhouse space, and hardly any plants. I was pretty choked that I had driven all the way to St. Albert and left without a single bedding plant, what a waste of my gas and my time. The Enjoy Centre is actually a wannabe high-end shopping mall, out in a middle of nowhere industrial park. One of the reasons I chose to come out was to hit Evoolution, but I can do that closer to home. There's a spa onsite, an overpriced kitchen store, an overpriced health and wellness shop, and a specialty grocery store akin to Loblaws City Centre market or any Planet Organic. I'm not sure why anyone would come to the Enjoy Centre for such services, and indeed anytime I've visited, these stores are all but empty. The cafeteria is also overpriced and very average. Honestly I'd only come back here for the special events and would maybe do some gift shopping. But I'll never make the drive from Edmonton again just to peruse expensive items I can purchase elsewhere, or to buy plants, if there were any to buy!!

I haven't organized these events but family and friends have (weddings). It's a beautiful location with photogenic scenery enclosing the manicured lawns and lodge. Perfect for wedding pictures. We've celebrated other events related to soccer tournaments. I love the cabin structure itself. It's charming, and having the dining hall seperated at an angle from the dance area works in terms of noise for our elders who wanted to sit and chat.

She even provided us with her cell phone number so we were able to contact her if there were any issues (which there weren't). Food was great, staff was friendly and timely - the building itself looked great. For the type of feel of this venue (rustic, country, etc) it is one of the more affordable options in the city. Also was nice to have everything in one spot, reduces some of the coordinating especially if you're doing it yourself. Some of the rental prices are a bit higher than perhaps a rental company or buying off of kijiji but for ourselves was worth it to avoid having to coordinate rentals and drop off, pick up, set up etc. costs and policies were clearly outlined in the information package provided to us originally. Only thing was that we were not able to get the space the day before our wedding to decorate so we had to do that day of - but that is the nature of getting married in the summer! The venue was booked the night before for another wedding so there was no way around that. Overall we really enjoyed our experience!
