Just drove from Midland out to Judy K's just to find it was closed. Hours say open but they were locked up with the open sign out . No vacation sign posted. Hard to support a business that does not honor its hours. read more

Got there at 10am didn't receive a menu for 20 min, the place was not busy at all! Ordered 20 min later never received a refill or the coffee we ordered. Waited until 12:30 and still never received any food so we just left!! Do not recommend this place at all! read more

Y'all!!! Judy K's is absolutely delicious!! My dad and I eat there literally every day since it's so close to work!! We never get tired of this place because the menu literally has everything and I'm pretty sure everything is homemade too! They usually have specials everyday- my favorite is the stuffed bell peppers, which is delicious! The blackberry cobble is great for dessert also!! This was a great breakfast! Not from around here, we followed Yelp's advice. The decor is a little low overhead, but as soon as I took the first sip of coffee, I knew we were in the right spot. Western scramble, hashbrowns, and biscuits were all perfect! My son had pancakes, bacon and scrambled eggs and had devoured it all before I had hardly started. On top of the large portions of great food at a really inexpensive price, all of the staff were super nice and prompt if anything was needed. I think I'm going back tomorrow! read more

Judy K's has the typical diner favorites like pancakes, hamburgers, etc. I think they are probably the best restaurant of this type in Odessa. They have a really good (and big) breakfast burrito with all kinds of ingredients in it. One caution is that smoking is allowed so this may bother you if you don't smoke. The ventilation is pretty decent though so it's never been too obnoxious for us who are non-smokers. Also they tend to be closed on holidays and the weekend days before holidays. read more

The first thing you'll notice is the neat door chime (chirping birds) when you enter which is nice. There's plenty of parking and plenty of room in this old place. The staff is great, the food is wonderful and the price is awesome! I ordered Migas (never heard of it before) and it was great! It reminded me of a taco salad but instead of lettuce you have the scrambled eggs. I wanted to try their country gravy and it was not a disappointment. The pancake was sooooo soft and fluffy but not gummy or too sweet. The only con, which to me is a lead-in to getting someone to order food even if they just came for coffee, is that the coffee was probably a bargain brand. Food was average and decent. No complaints about that. It's the fact that there were hardly any people there and it took at least 30 minutes to get our food. The younger waitress was rude to other tables and complaining about everything mentioned. What a bore! The roof and ceiling was leaking during the rain. Get that fixed! I use to be a roofer. Hit me up for an estimate. Lol They allow smoking the the building so it's uncomfortable for those of us who have recently quit smoking! read more

Stopped here on our way through Odessa and I am SO GLAD we did! It's a small diner type, but once you walk in it has the small town charm of a down home country cooking place! They have everything possible on the menu, and the portions are SO BIG! My kids ordered pancakes, and they came out in the shape of Mickey Mouse! The staff was unbelievably friendly, so much so that there was a policeman eating and they treated him like royalty (so nice to see!) and an older couple celebrating their anniversary and all the staff came out to congratulate them! We went about 11am on a Thursday and it wasn't busy at all and our food came out quick. I got the chicken fried steak and my husband the BarX burger. All was amazing and we left so satisfied! Looking for something new to try and stumbled upon Judy K's. The service was great, everyone was friendly, the server (Liz) even offered recommendations! The seating area is smallish with an open concept style, but it was still fairly quiet. And the food! The food was... Like homemade.
