I spoke with the owner to explain my experience, as I strongly prefer to support local businesses whenever possible. During that conversation, he indicated that he did not believe a seven-month delay was an issue. I requested a modest additional credit of 10% of the order total due to the prolonged delay, which he declined, characterizing the request as usury. He then made an inappropriate and offensive personal remark. Interactions are always two-way, but the owner asking me if I'm rich and suggesting I have a handicap was uncalled for.

Just one week from the three year anniversary of purchasing it, the chandelier just quit working! The manufacturer, Troy Lighting, simply said, essentially, Too Bad, you've only got a one year warranty. UL, however, stepped up and connected us with a specialist in the lighting repair and restoration field and determined it could be repaired!!! We began purchasing from UL nearly 20 years ago and, today, more than 85% of the fixed and non-fixed lighting, and at least 35% of accessories, in our home are from them. Needed a custom order that would require lamps plus to work with the vendor (Schonbek.) April 14th, placed order. April 30th returned order. May 14 finally heard back from lamps plus on custom order. Took payment by phone. May 25th lamps plus called. Needs a signed PO for custom order. So the order was never placed. June 3rd. Manager calls to ask us to sign the PO to place order. June 6th. Received a call from lamps plus stating they didn't process payment yet and I'll be receiving an email with instructions payment. June 7th. Received sketchy outlook email requesting me to email respond with my credit card info, address, 3 digit code. Of course I refused to do this. June 24th. Received phone call from lamps plus to confirm color after 2 weeks. Applause. June 26th. Lamps plus Called to say the color is going to be double the price. Kind sales said we can either pay for the difference or get a full refund. This is fraud and extortion. I will not be paying double. I will not accept a full refund. We have been spun in circles on both the California shutters and our wireless access points. First, the salesperson, Cole, dropped the ball on ordering the shutters so we had no window coverings for a month. Next, there were additional repairs to be done. We are on our third no-show today - 2.5 years later. Also, they have complete control of our routers (they installed access points throughout the house) to the point of requiring a service call to change the passwords. Same experience - no shows, getting shuttled around, and finally told to work with Comcast to make a new required router work with their system. 99% of the time we call, we receive voicemail with no return call. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Hoping to leave 0 stars if the system will allow.

There were no other customers in the store yet NONE of the 3 employees greeted us or even acknowledged that we were present. Incredibly POOR SERVICE!! Shocked that the employees are either not better trained to help customers or simply did not care. Disappointed in this store and would not consider purchasing lighting here given other good options in Denver.
