Andre was SUPER helpful and went above and beyond to help a customer who spent $2,000+ on a single light that had to be delivered due to its size (65" x 50" ceiling light). Lamps Plus corporate was going to return the light because we were not available during the days THEY wanted to deliver it, however Andre stepped up and helped us! I was just in this store with intentions to buy a table lamp. I noticed a sales associate chatting with 2 customers on the sales floor and 2 more back behind the counter chatting with each other. As I was walking around looking at lamps no one approached me to see if I needed assistance or to say someone would be with me as soon as possible. When I found the lamp, I wanted I was standing there for a few minutes and again, no one approached me but the 2 behind the counter were still chatting and then another employee walks past me with a ladder and again, he didn't ask me if he could help me. Horrible!!! I spent almost 1,000 dollars for a lamp that for starters they didn't have it in the store and they said it had to be delivered, so I said ok. Nothing out of the ordinary, let's get it delivered. I signed up for the phone text and email notification center to track my order and get notifications about when will the order be delivered or being contacted upon delivery etc... However, upon delivery, no text on delivery window given, I do happened to have the garage door open most of the day and at a random time furring the day I saw a box there. No confirmation text, no one rang the bell, no email of confirmed delivery, nothing!! Just dropped the 1 box and left. And I bumped into it by accident! To make matters worse! Upon opening the package...I only received the head of the lamp! but the paperwork insde the box listed 3 items!! I went online to follow the tracking number and now it said: delivered! Also it said that the entire lamp has been delivered!!!!! But I only received the head!!! Contacted customer support, one said that one more package was on route and another said 2 more packages were on route!!! So I ended up calling the store where I purchased the lamp! And explained the entire mess!! The store agent was nice and able to see the entire history of the package... and told me that indeed 2 more packages were on route but I won't receive them until end of the week Now! No additional tracking numbers were given to me, nothing... no more text alerts, no more email alerts... Therefore, now I don't have anymore tracking numbers or I'm not longer receiving notifications about when I will be receiving the rest of the lamp!!!! This is ridiculous!! I spent almost 1,000 dollars for this lamp and I get treated like this????? This morning I found another customer service phone number (different thats the previous one) and I finally got a hold of someone that finally helped me with a new tracking number and it said I will be receiving the other 2 packages today. I have never experienced this in my entire life. I purchased many furniture pieces in the past from different places and I have never had to go through anything like this to be able to ensure my order will be delivered in full! I would expect a UPS driver to just leave a package in front of the house if we are taking about a pair of brand new shoes ordered online but a piece of furniture? Specially an almost 1,000 dollar lamp!??!!! Unheard of!! Horrible horrible!!! It definitely makes me not want to purchase anything from them anymore... Needless to say, even tho the new tracking number has now been provided to me... let's see if I do receive the rest of my lamp or not.. that is still yet to see.... I needed to replace a broken globe on a previously existing chandelier. There was no branding on the chandelier and no way to know the manufacturer or the correct replacement globes needed. After weeks of online research and close "but not quite right" possible solutions, I went to Lamps Plus on South Colorado Blvd taking one of the globes with me. The salesperson, Patrick Magreevy, was great. Although we did not find the exact globes, he helped identify lighting fixtures in the showroom that fit the the globe I brought. The size of the globe was a little different but not enough to effect the look of the fixture. I ended up purchasing enough globes to replace all of the ones on the fixture for uniformity. The fixture looks great. I'm very appreciative of Patrick's help as I was on a short timeframe, after the weeks of research, and was thinking I would have to replace the entire fixture with a new one. Just wanted to say thanks to a Ms Roise. Was the nicest lady who helped me find some pretty reasonable price lamps I've had my eye on.

Not sure how I feel about this store. They have some nice options but I have issues with the quality of the lights. I bought a $150 lamp here a couple years ago. It stopped working properly after about 2 years and now only blinks. I searched online to see if I could find the manufacturer of the lamp to reach out to see if they have seen this problem. After significant sleuthing online I discovered it was manufactured at what looks like a fly by night factory in China. I used Google Street view and realized this place is a real dump. That's likely why there was no labeling or markings on the lamp for anyone to figure out where it was made. I eventually brought the lamp back to the store to see if they had ever seen this issue. They simply said oh yes, the LED bulbs are built-in to the unit and last for about two years. There is no way to replace them. That was strange to me since I know LED last much longer than that. And even if LED lamps like this only last for two years who would buy it? Who would pay $75 per year for a single lamp? And if the store knows this is an issue why are they selling this lamp still? I went to the store because I thought I would buy a quality lamp that I would have for a long time. If I knew I were buying junk, I would've just gone to target and saved a bunch of money. I guess my message to management is hold your suppliers accountable to make sure there is quality built into the product you sell. read more

I Found the Perfect Chandelier! After looking online forever I finally found the perfect light for my dining room at Lamps Plus on Colorado Blvd in Denver... AND the PERFECT mirror, lamp, and figurine! Woo-Hoo! The place was very busy, but the employees went out of their way to let me know they saw me and got to me as soon as they were free. Customer service was great. I had an issue with a pole lamp I purchased and had to return it. Upon returning it, someone carried it in for me and my money was promptly refunded with no hassle! After looking at the online selection at Lamps Plus, I had found three chandeliers I liked, but didn't want to buy without looking at them in person. We headed down to this location to see if they had them in stock. We were greeted by James, who opened the door for us and immediately asked what he could do to help. I explained what I was looking for, and he took me over to the cash register to verify if that particular chandelier was in stock. It was, and I was able to go and look at it, as well as the other two. In the end, we selected one of the ones I had seen online and were able to get a $200 discount by taking the display model. Andre was our sales person and was super helpful as well. They took down the chandelier, packaged it all up, and another very nice guy (whose name I unfortunately did not get) carried it all out to our car and loaded it for us. Exceptionally nice service all around. I was also impressed that they had a lot of home furnishings outside of just lighting, like couches, chairs, and decorative items. I was in the Denver area and since I've been looking for a ceiling fan I thought I would pop in here... While they have the world's greatest selection of lighting, their ceiling fan selection was much smaller than, say, Home Depot or Lowe's. They were also way more expensive, but if you're looking for something special, this would probably be the place to get it. read more

Bought two remote controlled bedroom ceiling light/fans, both of which have given me frequent problems. Now the lights won't shut off through the remote so the fan only works when the light switch is on. They have lost my business. Staff was friendly though. read more

Several years ago I purchased a lamp from another store and I needed about 6 inches of chain that would swag it to a beam. I looked at several other places, The Blue store, The Orange store and even the place with the Helpful Hardware Man. None had the right size and color to match what I had existing. Suddenly I remembered Lamps Plus. I guess this falls into the plus category of their service. They had what I needed. The unfortunate part was I had to buy a 3 foot length instead of just the amount I needed. This is the place to go when you need one of those weird LED or Halogen Light bulbs that costs a fortune. These are the ones where you have to use surgical gloves, or a tissue to change them, so your body heat doesn't destroy the elements. Either you have to stand on a table with the assistance of your favorite four legged chair- friend, and delicately remove the old bulb, prongs and all, while re-inserting the new bulb, and you are trying not to shake the entire light fixture, so you don't disrupt the electrodes and diodes of your lamp. Then you have to figure out how to get down from standing over the center of the table, or bathroom fixture and it's countertop and sink. The problem is my family leaves lights on like we own an electric company, and I'm running around reminding them how costly these little bulbs are, and how time consuming it is to change them. My requests fly over deaf ears. My next conquest is trying to explain to my family how to change recessed light bulbs from high ceilings. I have bought a 17 foot extension rod from Home depot to accomplish this endeavor, but you have to learn how to maneuver it or you will pull out the entire electrical casing wires and all. I wait until everyone has left the house to accomplish this task or they will start giving me unnecessary advice or laugh at my new abilities. The only thing my family will comment upon re-entering the home is...why is it so bright in here? So somebody has noticed a change, but I must return the extension rod to it's hiding place or it will be returned for no reason other than, it wasn't necessary. I guess some people enjoy the thrill of climbing shaky ladders, and having others hold it for them while they risk spinal injury. read more

They have a terrible selection of lightbulbs and you can't peruse them yourself. They are located behind the checkout area and you have to ask them to get bulbs for you in between people who are checking out. Really weird system. We went in for decorative chandelier bulbs and they didn't have any in daylight 5000K! They only had soft white and mostly off brands and ONLY packs of two bulbs at most (true for all kinds of bulbs not just the ones we were looking for). I need like 12 bulbs and don't want to buy 6 separate packages and pay for individual pricing! Soooooo annoying after driving all the way down colorado. Plus the parking is SUPER annoying. You're better off suffering at Home Depot bc at least they have a better selection. They had nice furniture tho so 3 stars for that. read more

I had ordered two hanging lamps online and needed to return one because the posts were thicker in person than they appeared online. I tried to get a return authorization number via text and email, but no reply after 24 hours. Got a call-back after one hour. Frustrated, but with my authorization, I drove to the Denver store, expecting maybe more issues. I wasn't sure what to expect when I arrived at the store. After waiting for two other customers to finish, Lisa greeted me warmly and handled my return quickly without any issues, then gave me some additional chain that I needed for the other lamp.
