Strange company/difficult to communicate with Messy clean up- always picking up their plastic After years of service told me they could not service us anymore because we did not send them a check in time ( keep in mind they are have an archaic system and you cannot use anything from 2000s like venmo, zelle) I actually forget because who uses payments in form of check only They lied and said not doing our neighborhood anymore but when I questioned them about still using a neighbor who I gave them their business, they came around and said they had to remind to mail a check. Seriously? Not very polite and easy to work with Found a different company and it has been so much better... there are others out there. They even have electronic invoices.. imagine that. I've used Its a Wonderful light for my holiday lights and have always had a wonderful experience with their service and their displays. My neighbors have always complimented me on the lights every Christmas. When I saw that they now did all season patio lighting, I had to get a quote. I am once again impressed with their professionalism and awesome display that they did for my patio. The lights are beautiful and have made our summer that much more special, especially since we are stuck at home. Oh my? I just called to get info after getting an email that the average was 2000 per house and to see if that was right because I wanted to do my house and possibly get others in neighborhood to jump in on it. The lady on the phone was SO rude and downright mean? She even told me that because my house and my neighbors were only like 1800 sq feet it wouldn't be worth it to them. OMG? Am I missing something here? I asked for the owner to call me. I am waiting and I will update this review after or if he calls me back. Just received a call back by owner and was treated even worst than the employee. Owner said he stands by his employee regardless and asked me what else I want, at that point what else can be said and I disconnected the call. We used IAWL for our residential Christmas lights display last year and it turned out beautifully. Jess who works in the office and handled our design, invoicing and answered our questions is awesome! This service is on the pricier side for our two-story house but I find value in the fact that they plan ahead to get you ready for the season and manage timing expectations with install and take down dates, installers do quality work, they provide all decorations, clips and timers, are fully insured and in their overall great customer service. We will be using IAWL for our 2021 display and appreciate them starting the process in the summer so we are not scrambling last minute when the holiday season "surprises" us. read more

My experience with it's a wonderful light was/is incredible. It it started out as a simple Halloween decoration but took on life of its own. Ben worked with me as we expanded it however Ben kept me from going overboard. When finished it was agreat Halloween display. I CANNOT WAIT FOR CHRISTMAS Update when Christmas came around the display is stunning, however it took a lot of tinkering to get it right. They took my thoughts and ideas and created a Halloween spectacular at our house. They were easy to work with and on point with what they say they are going to do. This is one of the best businesses around. Family owned and they provide a fantastic service. I called Jess who was super helpful on the phone. Sent her a picture of my house and suggested what I was interested in. The very next day, she provided me with a "mock up" of what she thought I would like and an estimate. Within a couple of days a squad of three workers came to install the lights! It is all done before Thanksgiving. In January they will come back to take down and store all of the lights, garland and wreaths! No freezing cold fingers, no wondering if I have all of the right attachments and lengths of lights. CUSTOMER BEWARE!!!!! My husband and I had Ben come over who told us he was one of the owners.We explained to him what our ideas were for our Christmas decorations, at that time he provides us with two invoices. My husband and i reviewed the invoices the following day, and decided on what we wanted ,we called him back left a message with Danielle. To our amazement we were told he could NOTdo the job!! :( My husband and I chose to do lighted garland around our arch in front of our home the price of the garland which we were purchasing from him was$360.00 the labor was$ 206.25.) Bens reason for not being able to do it was that they have a minimum of $ 500.00 in labor, Which of course he NEVER told us. we were very disappointed, not only in him but the company itself. He admitted he made a mistake and was not clear in explaining his minimum. Never once did Ben try to work something out with us or apologize for the misunderstanding.. After speaking with Kevin, I was able to get Christmas lights put up at a reasonable budget compared to other companies I spoke with. Kevin described my options and was able to show me what the decor would look like on a digital display on his computer at my home consultation. Their business plan made the most sense to me considering you actually purchase the product you are displaying. Kevin is very knowledgable about his product and great to work with. The install crew came in at a timely manner and were quick and efficient. I loved my lights!! The removal crew was just as great. Also of particular note, my interaction with Tara from their office was so pleasant, I was actually taken aback by such wonderful (no pun intended) service. She is such a breath of fresh air.
