Excellent electrician. Went above and beyond to find a solution within my budget for an unusual, complex problem in an old house's wiring.

We had what I would call a few electrical issues to take care of so we waited until we could not stand it any longer and called Donatello. I was concerned that because these were several small tasks, they wouldn't want to help but I was completely wrong. They set a time, promptly came out and fixed each item perfectly. We called Donatello Electric about a light fixture above our bathroom medicine cabinet. Some days the light would go on, some days it wouldn't. Mike arrived early (he called ahead to make sure that was ok). He found a flakey connector in the fixture. He removed the connector and hard wired the fixture so we wouldn't have that problem again. Mike was clean and polite. We will call Donatello the next time we need electrical work. read more

They did in fact install the new whole house fan. Mike knew what he was doing, cleaned up after himself, and took the old one downstairs for my 79 yr old father. Professional, great attitude. Yesterday (4/15/24), Mike Parker from Donatello Electric responded to service requested. Issue was GFCI breaker intermittently tripping. And on Apr 4, would not reset, even with loads disconnected. (all small charger items like a razor or toothbrush). Being the breaker itself was 10 yrs old, but outlets 30-35 yrs old, Mike quickly recommended replacing outlets and the breaker. Mike had a good recommendation, was friendly and showed us how the new outlets could be rest. Great job. In March, we had Matt here to repair a hallway fixture. Bulb had broken leaving metal still in socket. Donatello has helped us several times. read more

I contacted Donatello Electric to handle a large electrical repair that I needed done immediately. Don answered on the first ring and explained that he is very busy right now and does not have time to take on the job. However, he gave me the number for another electrician (competitor!) and told me I can contact him back if that electrician is too busy. Well, the other electrician was too busy! So, I texted Don and he gave me yet another referral to a competitor. This referral ended up working out and he was able to do the job. I had a highly positive experience with Donatello Electric yesterday. I'm in the midst of preparing my residence to become a rental unit and have been switching out some light fixtures. To do that, I had to turn off the power at the circuit breaker. I have pretty old circuit breaker, so when I switched off the circuits I wasn't able to switch them back on again. It was getting dark, and I still have more work to do on the house but no light. I called Don. He sent Mike and Tim out within the hour. Within the next hour and 15 minutes, Mike and Tim work diligently to fix the problem. They worked professionally and efficiently to solve the problem. I would definitely call them again. Thanks to Steve and Joel, we feel safe in our home again. We had been experiencing partial outages and could not figure out why. It turns out our "fake fireplace" TV stand was the culprit. The 1500 watt setting was too much for our lighting circuit and had caused issues with the 50+-year-old wire insulation and the circuit. Steve and Joel ran new wires and they also found a disconnected conduit connector and fixed that. A word to the wise, do not overload your wiring and breakers with electrical items that the circuit was not designed to handle! Thanks, guys! read more
