I was hoping the small coffee would be free with purchase of bag, but I guess it wasn't. The bag of coffee wasn't cheap, so I was disappointed in how over-roasted the beans were. Adjusting grind levels and water temperature, there was always a bitterness or too watered down. The other flavors present in the beans, however, we're quite nice. I was hoping that they would have real kona coffee, but unfortunately their supplier suffered from disaster in Hawaii. Not going to blame them for that, but objectively speaking, if a Hawaiian coffee shop doesn't have Hawaiian coffee, then I am sad about it. At the same time, due to the circumstances, there is a compelling reason to throw some more support behind them.

The entire block was full o' cars. I block over or a street down you'll find plenty of parking but the neibhborhood is a little sketchy so be mindful of where you park. Colfax might be a better choice. I parked on Colfax but nobody else did, so I hope it was OK. I didn't get a ticket and I didn't see any parking restrictions. I't s busy street though. OK. Sorry about the parking thing. I live in LA so parking is always something I keep in mind because parking is such a hassle there. Anyway, Jubilee is awesome! There's tons of seating, so you can likely easily meet someone there without having to worry if you'll find seating. The place has a great vibe and the staff adds a lot to the super cool vibe. It was good but probably not something I would do very often.
