    Bahn mi BM1. COMBO
    Colleen M.

Bahn mi BM1. COMBO was delicious! Lots of meat, fresh veg and perfect bread! I would have liked a little more pate but I think that's just a personal preference. This place is legit and I will be back! Next time the weather maybe cooler so I'll try the pho. Very nice service and had a cafe atmosphere. Clean and comfortable!

I came to Banh Mi & U on a whim looking for dinner. Upon walking in, the store was mostly empty, yet it still took a while before someone walked up to the register to greet me. Fortunately, the service improved significantly after I had placed my order. I had the meatball pho, which was absolutely delicious. Most pho places have soup broth that tastes eerily similar. However, the soup broth here was uniquely flavorful and had a distinct beef flavor and coloration. Moreover, they even took the time to slice the meatballs. Overall, I would definitely recommend Banh Mi & U.

Wow! I am impressed! Fist off, the restaurant is clean, I loved the interior. Service was great, we were checked on a few times. Now the food, we got an order of spring rolls with shrimp and the combination bang mi. Spring rolls were good, I enjoyed the dipping sauce. The banh mi though, the best I have ever had! What made it stand out was the bread! It was so soft, but yet crunchy! It does not cut the roof of your mouth which is a bonus! We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu, but this spot will definitely be my go to for banh mi! I forgot to add that we also go the three color dessert and it was really tasty!

Stopped by to pick up some banh mi for a next day hike. The store was super clean and had new interior. The banh mi was filled really well with protein and still tasted really good the next day on our hike. I was pretty full off one sandwich too. The viet coffee was also really good and strong- not too sweet. Not sure about the other food items, but the banh mi's were pretty solid and worth the price. I would come back if I was back in the area again.

Expensive but delicious $18 for combo rice plate that includes 2 shrimp $7 for shrimp spring roll The egg was perfectly fried! It looked over easy but it was hard fried. You can tell they took care to make the plate look appetizing by how they garnished and sequenced the veggies.I think this is my new go to spot. Sooo good

Finally a banh mi sandwich spot close to work and in the DTC!!! It's not the best banh mi in town but I'll absolutely take it and still was really really good in my opinion. Couldn't give them a 5 star but the fact they opened where they did and I've definitely had worse banh mi's in the area, it's pretty close for me personally. Nice bread, crusty crispy exterior and still super soft inside. Definitely made in house. Meat was good but I meant to get the other grilled pork option and probably would've like it more but the pork sausage wasn't bad. Few more slices and the ratio would be great. As others mentioned, heavy handed on the veggies for sure BUT, at least they are cold, crisp and fresh so I wasn't too upset. Touch more meat and less veggies would've helped balance the ratios out. Overall I did really enjoy the sandwich and will absolutely be back again for another Banh mi or even other things on the menu to try them out. Couple great restaurants now in that strip mall with Hong Kong and Venalonzo's on either side too!

I was excited for a new banh mi place to open in the Centennial area. We were waiting for HK Station nearby so we decided to order some durian smoothies. It felt like one person was working in the kitchen making food. There was one party dining in and I'm guessing they ordered a lot of food. So we ended up waiting almost 40 minutes for smoothies. We didn't even order food. I'll be back to try the banh mi but I might come right when they open so I'm the first in line and I don't have to wait. Place seems clean and there are plenty of seating options. I'm hoping our experience was just because they are still new and working the kinks.

Great banh mi spot and what you really want for traditional flavors. First time coming in and will be back. Love when places have solid pate, heavier pickled/sour veg, and bread that is not too crusty and falling apart. Jalapeños also had a solid kick. Staff was great, clean restaurant, and plenty of parking. In the shopping center of some great restaurants and variety.

Delicious banh mi sandwiches in a strip mall with a lot of choices. Spacious parking lot and the interior is small but has a good amount of seating. There was some confusion on whether you pay/order at the counter at the end of the meal but the service was super fast once we placed our orders. The veggie ham is really tasty and I had never heard of chay before this place. It is a great option for vegetarians. The bread is incredible and it comes with lots of toppings. I've had three banh mi from here and the jalapeños are super spicy. My husband got the pork banh mi and said the pork was cooked to perfection and seasoned well. I would be remiss not to mention their iced coffees, which hit the spot. The sandwiches did not come sliced by default but I think you can ask for it.

This place is delicious, clean, and the customer service is excellent. I've tried the Bahn Mi combination and the Bahn Mi beef and both were delicious. I've also had the garlic noodles and they are very garlicky, which I love! Lastly, I've had the avocado smoothie which was good but very different. The inside is cute and has a clean look. Service can be a bit slow but that is because they cook the food fresh to order. So please be patient. I highly recommend Bahn Mi & U.

We've been eagerly awaiting for this shop to open and the time is now! DTC- you have a new favorite Banh Mi shop! All three of us tried different Banh Mi sandwiches- grilled beef, grilled lemongrass pork, and egg pate. I really like that they pause and ask you if you want all the toppings or not (I know, it's a sin, but I'm not a daikon fan). But the show stopped for me this go round was the pandan waffle, made fresh to order! It smells incredible in the shop!

Delicious Vietnamese banh mi that wasn't too far from parker/centennial area. I'm so glad that there is a good Vietnamese sandwich place near us now! We enjoyed the clean atmosphere and friendly service. Will say if you order a lot sometimes it takes a while to get everything out. Not great for big groups but if you are going with a few of your friends a good place! I got extra pate on my sandwich and it was delicious! Would go again but in a smaller group. We had about 11-12 people with us so I think it was just an overwhelming amount of people at once for a smaller restaurant space

Really good pork and beef bahn mi! I love how lemongrass heavy the protein felt in the bahn mi. Service was quick. We also tried the Che here and it was alright - wish it was better. Recommend for bahn mis

Interestingly enough, I'd never eaten at one before, so I threw caution to the wind, walked in, and grabbed the last available seat at the counter. It was already 10 a.m., but to my surprise, the place was packed! The friendly waitress took my order: * 3 eggs (over medium) * Wheat toast * Grits * Ham Even though it was very busy, my order arrived in about 10 minutes, and it was very good. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the ham slice was thick, the grits had a nice consistency and were tasty, and the wheat toast was nicely toasted and buttered. Yes, it was crowded and a little noisy, but this was a better-executed breakfast than I've had at much pricier restaurants. I'd happily return to this location when in need of a big breakfast.

The Chickichanga consisted of whipped cage-free eggs with spicy, all-natural chicken breast, chorizo, green chiles, Cheddar and Monterey Jack, onions and avocado rolled in a flour tortilla. Topped with Vera Cruz sauce and all-natural sour cream. This was pretty balanced in flavors and delicious. The side of fruits (seemed unripe or old) and potatoes didn't seem to go with the dish.
