So this time they burnt my pizza. They asked me to send photos, the same I'm posting here. They said that is their standard when cooking a pizza longer. This is not true, I worked for Papa John's 20+ years ago and Tom Donaldson, the owner of Papa John's of Iowa, would have chewed me out if I had sent a pizza like this to a customer. They offered to send me another pizza tonight, which would have been too late for my kids, since it was close to bedtime, or a credit for next time. But if I chose the credit, they would have to send a pizza overcooked like this one, no exceptions. I told them I did not want either option, and that I am done with Papa John's. 2 pizzas for $40+ is crazy to send shoddy food like this. And the other pizza had so much crust, almost 1/3 of the slice. Very skimpy. Too bad, of the 3 big chains, Papa John's had always been my go to. But for that price and horrible product, I'll go local, or even a Caseys pizza, which is better and cheaper.
