Before starting, I was informed that the extra nail on my big toe would be an additional $10, which I understood and agreed to. However, when it came time to pay, my bill was about $50 higher than expected. I was then told there was an extra $10 charge for the coffin shape, even though I had been told beforehand there was no additional charge for that. I was also charged $10 for length, despite my nails being short, and another $10 for the French tip, even though the package I selected already included French tips. When I questioned the charges, it seemed there was some confusion among the staff. Instead of correcting what appeared to be an error, the charges were explained in a way that still didn't fully account for the total. I left feeling unclear about where the additional costs came from. Unfortunately, that experience lost me as a customer. It was disappointing because I had just moved to the area and was hoping this would become my regular nail salon. Paying $120 for basic short French tip nails, with so many unexpected extra charges, did not feel transparent or professional. Out of respect for their business, I didn't make a scene in the store and still left a tip. As a brand new mama, sneaking away for some me-time was much needed. She was able to make reservations for us online. We were instructed to park right outside of the spa near the overhang. We had no issue finding a place to leave my car. We were greeted right away and were shown to the locker room where robes and spa sandals were waiting for us. After we got into our robes there was a relaxation room we used to wait for our massage therapists. The treatment room was dark and cozy, adorned with spa music and a waterfall sound machine. We were told on any day we receive treatments we are able to use the steam room, sauna, and showers inside the locker room. We used the sauna after our service which was great, but showered at home since I live up the street. I got the 90 minute hot stone massage with aromatherapy ($135 before tip). I was able to select my scent for the aromatherapy, though I'll admit I really only smelled it when she asked me to take deep breaths right at the beginning of the massage. Otherwise, I smelled nothing the entire time and would likely skip this $10 add-on next time. I really liked the hot stones and I was able to test the temperature before we started. I've gotten some hot stone massages before where there was not nearly enough hot stones used. Totally not the case this time. The hot stones were used the majority of the time which was much appreciated. The one thing I will say is the technique was a little strange throughout. There was a lot of hot stones getting rubbed against my bones repeatedly which felt strange. The technique was just a bit odd I guess. I still found the massage relaxing and the pressure was great. She was also attentive and adjusted a bit during the massage after some feedback. Interestingly enough, my best friend had a different massage therapist and as we were leaving shared the same exact critique using the same words: "the technique was odd". All in all, everyone was very sweet and we enjoyed our treatments. The spa is gorgeous, by the way! I wish I'd taken pictures, but it was pouring and we were a few minutes late so we rushed to get ready and I had to leave my phone in the locker room.

I booked a prenatal massage for my wife at 2:45. They called me at 1:50 and said she didn't show up…read moreto her 1:30 appointment. I explained that I have text messages stating it was at 2:45 and she kept telling me they said 1:30 and not 2:45. Moral of the story is they messed up and instead of owning up to it they charged me full price for a no call no show. Completely unacceptable.
