I'm so disappointed. I have been here several times over the past two years. Always decent dip powder. Went in today 12/20/2024. No one was in here. Asked for dip powder. It was the most rushed job, he literally dipped one time. And done! They are really cutting back on materials. Tonight I'm looking at them thinking they probably won't even make it to Christmas Eve. The worst part. I used to pay $40. To $45. Today, she says $56. !!!! I had Cash in my hands. Had no plan to give me a cash discount which they had displayed. She had to ask the guy who did my one dip powder! He says $51. With Cash. I'm done! I'm over nail salons jacking up prices! Time for me to do my own nails! If it looked great, maybe I would be ok. I've been coming here off and on for years. Never had a bad experience. The ladies and gentlemen here are always professional and courteous. The place is clean and they work fast. They almost always have HGTV on one of the tv sets so that you can catch up on the latest episode of you favorite home improvement project show. The salon is in a super convenient location next to the Kroger in Holly Springs which is a big plus because after wards I can go grocery shopping here. I also like all the customers I meet here too. If I could give 0 I would, I walked in on a Sunday at 11:00 when they opened to get an eye brow wax. There were already 4 people in front of me having services done. Lady said "5 more minutes" okay no problem. 5 minutes turned into 15 and at this point I said I'll just come back later. I don't know her name but as I was trying to walk out she physically put her hands on my arm and stomach trying to stop me from leaving saying "I do for you I do for you" I said please remove your hands from my body and I've never run so fast out of a nail salon. read more

Wanted to give this place a chance since it's so close- was told they would be right with me and my daughter. After 40 minutes was told someone would be right with us- our water had been cold for ages. After 10 more minutes when we decided to leave as it was clear we would not be serviced soon - the older lady literally held my legs down telling me to stay. Each time she lifted her hands I would attempt to move to exit chair and she would restrain legs again- only after I became stern about no I was leaving did she finally allow me to leave chair. I went here to try a new place to get my nails, and first of all when the nail tech finished it didn't stay smooth and it was rough, so I told the guy that did my nail and he fixed it, the next day the shine cover started to come off after. I chose a middle priced one, he asked me for $2 more if I wanted to add fragrance to my foot bath, not really sure why I said yes but I did. It ended up being $4 more not $2, and I didn't even notice any nice fragrance... this is just shady business practice which I do not appreciate. I paid extra for a nicer pedicure for the extra massage and service. He rushed through most of the pedicure and the massage was awful. It really actually hurt , he was staring off into space and watching tv while giving the massage, rubbing really hard over my shins repeatedly. At first I was hesitant to try this place because of the negative reviews but decided to try it for myself and am glad I didn't let that stop me. There were several regulars that were quick to rave over Peter, Tammy and Jenny. One in particular said she'd been coming here for 12 years and has never had a bad experience. Good color selection, very clean and they even offered to stay late to accommodate a customer's color change. Overall very happy with the service and attention. I came in with my sister for a pedicure. Like any other business would, the people there tried to up-sell us on their more expensive "callous-remover" pedicures. $5 up charge for something that comes standard with other pedicures I've had? No thank you. I went with the basic pedicure as did my sister. We received the smallest amount of scrub on our feet and legs and the lady doing my pedicure didn't say anything to me except for "pick your color" and "eyebrow wax?" She sped through my massage and even went as far as setting a timer so she would know when to be done at the exact moment to start her sloppy paint job on my toenails. Upon finishing painting in less than 2 minutes she pointed to the front of the salon for me to sit down and let my toes dry as my sister was left to start her pedicure. I felt rushed and secondary to the "regulars" that walked in after us. For $20 I should have just stayed home and done my own pedicure with my sister. I will not be back here. Very disappointing. The older lady that did my pedicure tried to upsell me without even looking at my feet. When I declined she proceeded with the pedicure but she was rushed and very rough. I had to tell her that she was rough. She barely massaged my feet or legs and hardly used any product. This was not a relaxing pedicure by any means. When the timer expired, she polished my nails and when done she raised the armrest and walked away. I led myself to the drying bar where she abruptly came for payment. Don't go here!! I took my mom and niece to get their nails done along with myself and paid $72 for a fill in & for them to paint my mom and nieces nails!! Which all took 2 hours because they started mine and my moms nails and then had us wait 30 mins or more while they did another persons nails. I was charged $40 for a fill in and I could've done a better job myself!!! You can see slap thru my nails and the snowflake design I got on my ring fingers look like a kindergartner did it. First of all, the lady doing my pedicure dug at my toenail and left it raw and hurting. I had to work an 8 hour shift in terrible pain. Then i told her I wanted the $26 pedi and she charged me for the $36 one anyway!!! And my full set was messed up before I left and they acted like it was a problem to fix it so I left. I have continually been let down by bad service and bad experiences over the years and have returned only as a last resort if needed. Today that ends. I asked at arrival if there was available time for a pedicure and then was left to sit in a chair for nearly 40 minutes until the water was cold while they co tenure accepting clients not having enough staff to serve us. When I finally got up to leave the older lady tried to convince me I was up next. I let them know that she should have told me the wait at arrival. I've been here a couple times in the past 10 years and have had ok experiences..... The last time they did my nails they used a color that ended up making my nails look green... I said I had to go but would come back the next day to get it changed. The next day he changed it and I was feeling a lot better until he charged me again to change the color!!! I'm not one to get upset in public but he could see I was upset about it and still charged me do what I wanted the day before! I haven't been back in years bc I found another place to get my nails done. I went by today just to get my eyebrows shaped (bc there right next to my neighborhood). I had been going to Nail Smart for a couple of years, off and on. I hadn't been in awhile (have been trying to grow my own nails). I went yesterday to get a new set. I called before I came to get an appt with "Long". They said when would I be there I said 15 or 20 mins, I said I want an appt with Long. I get there and I didn't see "Long", they sat me down with Peter. I said, I have an appt with "Long", Peter said I always do your nails. I said, no, "Long" does my nails. He kept saying he does my nails, I told him several times, no "Long" always does my nails. I was very mad. I know who does my nails. Needless to say, Peter did my nails. I found out during my nails getting done, "Long" doesn't work there anymore. I am not happy with my nails, the tip's are is too thick and very square. Yes, I should of had him fix them, but I was so angry and mad that they never told me when I called that "Long" doesn't work there. I would have not gone. I am disappointed that they lie to get you in there. It cost me $40 and I'm dissatisfied with my nails. My daughter is getting married in a little over a week and now, I need to try to fix them to look decent. I realize I didn't have to have them do them, my fault. Please be aware if you go here.
