I have used this tanning salon for years, but I just moved to Towne Lake an did not want to drive that far, so I unfortunately joined Palm Beach Tan at Towne Lake. I paid $179 a month, they have 20 beds and after three times, I received nothing. It was one story after another, it takes time, blah, blah. They could not tell me how many hours were on the bulbs, etc. I had enough and came back to Majestic, tanned for 12 minutes and got exactly what I needed. This is a family ran business and not fancy like the chains, but if you want a tan, this is the place to go. read more

Had a spray tan. It being my first I was not sure what to expect. I have used tanning beds for many years. I was short on time and this location was close and has been around for years. I am grown accustomed to a modern setting with up to date equipment.I was short in time and this location was open later and could fit me it. I would not return. I just did not feel comfortable. Started me off by having me stand in a vertical tanning bed. The standup tanning bed had bars on it like a jail. The spray tan itself was orange. I was not happy. The guy doing the tan was nice, and the lady who followed up the next day was nice as well. read more

I've been here so many times and it's always wonderful. There customer service is lovely and I've even called ahead a few times and the sweet lady has waited on me and stayed open after closing time to accommodate me. The tans always look wonderful and sometimes they even throw in a lotion that is included. This is the only place I will get a tan in in town!!! read more

I'm new to the area and have been looking for a tanning salon. After reading reviews and calling to get package pricing I decided to give this place a try. The lady at the desk was so sweet and nice. She gave me a tour of all the beds and explained the different packages. Although this isn't a newer style place, a bit out dated I still decided to give it a try. I bought a basic package of 12 tans, the price was right! After my first visit I already got a some color. Bulbs were strong which is good. After reading all the other reviews I think I made a good choice. When is time for a spray tan I'll have to give them a try. read more

I was skeptical about visiting this tanning salon based on the reviews it has received, but it's very convenient to where I'm staying while I'm in Roswell, so I tried it. It met most of my expectations. This seems to be a pretty no-nonsense tanning bed place and is not a spa atmosphere. I was a walk-in and paid cash for a one-time visit in a cheap bed. The employee did try to up-sell a better bed and a membership, but since I'm traveling I politely declined the membership. After discussing my needs with me, the employee helped me choose a bed with older bulbs. It was nice that I was given the choice of having new bulbs if I wanted them. Even though I chose the older bulb bed, it was still much hotter than I expected. This is great if you're looking to get dark, but be careful if you just need a bit of color. The low-level bed I was in was the flat kind that sandwiches on top of you and doesn't dome on top or bottom. If I go again, I think I'll opt for a higher-end bed and less time because I found this bed uncomfortable. The place seemed clean and the employee was nice to me. All told, my expectations were met for the price and convenience of location. read more

This tanning salon is a life-saver! I had booked a mobile airbrush tan for the day before I left for my bachelorette trip just to come find out the spray tan artist ghosted me and never showed up with no call nor courtesy! When I was freaking out, because it was getting past 6:30 pm and I had to leave first thing the next day, I called Majestic Tan and they said they could squeeze me in for an appointment right away -- and they did! Nick was very patient and helpful to me; accommodating to my situation and understanding to help me get in before the salon closed (they were slammed with spring break appointments and he still managed to work me into the schedule!) I've never felt more comfortable getting the tan in my life too, and I came out a beautiful bronze color that looked natural -- almost as if I'd already been in the Caribbean for 2 weeks! I'm so grateful to Majestic Tan for helping a girl out and I will be back -- especially for my tan for my wedding! Thanks guys! read more

Wow. This place is absolutely filthy. The floors look like they haven't been swept or mopped in months. Oil, grime, and dust coat most surfaces. The inner edges of the beds are streaked with caked on lotion fingerprints from previous users. The whole place needs a deep cleaning. If I could give zero stars I would. However, the one star (in my opinion) is for the friendly/helpful staff and super strong bulbs. read more

Recently got a custom spray tan (4-1-17). The owner did a very good and thorough job. He even had me go under the dryer for a few minutes and then resprayed any areas that needed it. I appreciated that it was not rushed and time was taken. He also took time to explain how to preserve the tan and avoid streaks, etc. Good communication. I purchased a package of a few custom spray tans (which saved me money) and will be back for sure! read more

Me and my fiancé stopped in here last week after visiting another tanning bed with expensive pricing. This place is great for getting the job done. It's not fancy but the price is great, the staff is super nice and the beds give you good color. That's all we can ask for. The only small complaint I have is the check in desk by the front door is very small and cramped. When we checked in it was just the 2 of us so it was fine. When I was leaving there were 5 of us standing at the check out desk and we had to maneuver around each other. But the price and staff are great so we'll be back. read more

The what seems to be owner told my friend and I that we could split a package. When i went back to get my second tan she told me that I couldn't cuz I had done the full 20 minutes the first time. I went back again trying to fix the problem and she said that it was because my friend paid and i couldn't use the package when we had both paid. Point being this lady is a liar and a theif. Smelled like old cheese. Not a fan. There is an alarm every time someone walks in and it was very loud. The person who was spraying get jumping by shock every time it went off. She didn't listen to what I wanted. I wanted a light tan and she gave me a dark spray. I tried to tell her it's too dark but she said: "NO BEAUTIFUL" like no ITS TOO DARK LADY. And don't get me started on the way it came off. It took about two weeks to come off. 2 days prior to the spray tan, I went into the water and came out and dried off. my spray tan had been coming off like an alligator skin. It was leathery and very embarrassing for when I went out in public. I had everyone staring. And I tried everything. I scrubbed so hard I drew blood. IT STILL WOULDNT COME OFF. Horrible customer service. They keep making mistake on my menbership, at least twice! After i proved them, both time, they were wrong, i never receive any type of apologie! No, i can't tan there when i am out of town, or twice in the same day! Go to hollywood tan instead. So much better. read more

While this might not be the fanciest place in town in makes up for it in friendly customer service with regular people not trying to up-sell you on everything that moves. The staff is always willing to work with you and there are many options for all types of tan needs. Stop in and see what they can do for you without the big price tag. read more

My leg was dripping tanner. Friendly staff but worst spray tan experience I've ever had. The worst part is that it wasn't a spray tan from a machine.... it was done by hand (an airbrush tan) and I was still dripping and turned orange all over. read more

WOW this place SUCKS!!! the 1st time I went there and paid cash for a membership (with a young guy) & the next time I went in to tan a older man (perhaps the owner, not sure) did not see my name in the system...he startedquestioning me and then says , "well I dont mind LETTING you tan" I said 1st of all you are not LETTING me tan I PAID CASH TO TAN, the next few times I went in I had tyo go thru the same crap. Then next time I went to buy another month tan it was the older guy....I paid him cash and he left my change on the counter for me to get when I was leaving...my son and I had been home about ten mins after tanning and it was the guy saying he thinks he gave me too much change!! he DID NOT and he ask me several times if I was sure...so I do not advise paying cash to anyone there because they have a issue with it for 1 reason or another I will NEVER give them cash again!!! ALSO do NOT go by the prices listed on line,...its always atleast $10.00 more when you actually go in to purchase membership...and the young girl actually argued with me that if she gave me the price that is listed on their website SHE WOULD GET IN TROUBLE!!! WHAT??? I went ahead and paid the $10 or $12 extra not at all happy about it...and I promise you this will be the last 2 weeks they will ever see me, my son, and my mom....over 10-12 dollars they would rather loose 3 customers REALLY??? The thing is I checked salons near me and PRICES prior to going in and signing up somewhere....so if you cant go by the prices on line WTH is the pouint....uggghhh so frustrating!!! ...oh well on to better places....and one person that wrote the review of them being a messy place is THAT IS ALSO VERY TRUE.....YUCK!!!! read more

The tanning is great but the customer service is aweful. I accidentally left my weddings on the shelf in the room. I was gone maybe 10 or 15 minutes. I called to inform them that my ring was still in the room. When i got there the lady said it wasn't there. We search the room and she told me SHE was the ONLY person that was there while i was gone. So i guess my ring just walked away all on its own. Thieves. They need surveillance cameras monitoring the halls and front desk. Once my membership is up I will NOT go back. read more
