I don't know why in…read morethe world the one review on here is one star because my experience with Mike was 2nd to none. I went snorkeling in the Bahamas several days before and where Mike brought us out was significantly better than anything I saw in the Bahamas. We saw a lot of different fish including Barracuda, Yellow Tail, Rainbow Fish, Surgeon Fish, etc. Mike was very helpful in where we should go but also allowed for me and my girlfriend to explore. We had a small lunch afterwards on a small island that was quaint but very fun and relaxing. He also NEVER rushed us or said we needed to get going. However, that is only the half of it. I seemed to have lost my rental car keys during the charter (100% my own fault) and Mike came back after he dropped us off and helped me look. unfortunately, the keys were as good as gone. Still, Mike let us stay in his car while I tried to get a lock.smith to get a new key. Over the next hour, Mike stayed with us, brought us to his house, a convenience store to get some drinks, and waited with us for 40 minutes till the lock smith arrived. On top of that, he waited with us the entire time the locksmith was at worked for another 30+ minutes. During the time, I had some very good conversations with Mike. Mike is one of the most genuine people I ever met and words couldn't express how much better he made my gf and my day. I HIGHLY recommend Lower Keys Adventure. Also, he had a very cute and friendly dog named Lizzy!

We went to two places and saw tons of beautiful aquatic life, multiple types of colorful parrot fish, etc, as well as a huge larger-than-man sized grouper (I'll get my Bf to post pics on his review as he rented the underwater camera housing for his iPhone 6s). We also saw a sizable shark my boyfriend followed for awhile and then was followed by*... They have water and soda for sale $1 on the boat, a cooler to store your own snacks and drinks if have them (no glass or alcohol), as well as a cooler with tap water you can refill your own bottles. I understand that sharks aren't a real cause for concern and a lot of people like the sharks, but we got scared and swam back to ship. The kayak was more comfortable than we expected & we stayed out for four hours. I have attached a photo of our route with some pictures. They loaned us a waterproof phone case which was essential. We had a pretty significant downpour which added excitement. This was definitely a highlight of our trip to the Keys. The price is right and Brian & his assistant really set us up well. Remember to call if they turn you away at the gate. I would also call a day ahead to let them know when you are coming.
